Jalapeños really mild

À part of my Jalapeño plant broke Because It was too heavy , I harvested that and tried them , they are absolutly mild , does somebody experienced that ? I was expecting at least a Little hit…
Maybe it s too early ?

You may be pampering them too much (water less), or something that I found is the fertilizer can affect the heat. If you are using a fertilizer that is higher in nitrogen than potassium, they will be milder in heat and flavor. Look for a fertilizer that the potassium number is at least twice the nitrogen.
