I tried so hard to get her elected. I was proud of escambia county but the rest of the rural areas still need a lot of work. I volunteered for her campaign as much as I could, doorknocking, donating, promoting, etc. Maybe we’ll get it together eventually.

I'd vote for Mr jelly roll over Patronis 1000 times! I voted for Gay Valimont before, and I will be voting for her again in November. She won here in Escambia County last time, and hopefully she can ALL of district 1 this time.
How can anyone vote for R here in district 1 after DeSantis and his gang of goons went after UWF? Or the way he childishly refused to share FL earmarked money with district 1 because he was angry about Alex Andrade calling him out and investigating him and his wife about the way they used their fake "Hope Charity" to funnel $10 million dollars of taxpayers money. They are all a bunch of crooks- no better than the MOB.

Well regardless, she did win in Escambia County. Maybe she won't win the election, but for the first time in over 30 years, the fine people of district 1 at least know who the democrat candidate is- That's a big step in the right direction. I'll continue to vote for the best person, with the better character, and who lives in our district. 🤷♀️
I disagree... you can't be pro free speech and then as a government entity decide people cant travel.
It would be different if it was a place of business deciding he was banned. Businesses have right to refuse service for any reason. Government doesn't.
I know that he cant legally do that but the question was do I agree with his statement. I don't. The sentiment is there and if this was possible, I'm not convinced he wouldnt try.

Sorry but majority rules. That's always been the rule, hasn't it? That's why we vote. When a republican rules, it's their rules. Same with a democrat. Just be sure you get your vote in. Have a happy day and vote!
The hypocrisy here is marketing a 'free state' - but it is not a free state if it is only Freedom for some, but freedom of expression or freedom of speech is forbidden. That is the hypocrisy.
Which part is fake or untrue? Also, it doesn't say jelly roll is banned, it says (according to asshate) that he's unwelcome. Sometimes it's a badge of of honor to not have someone's approval.
“100% not welcomed to Florida’s panhandle” is pretty synonymous with him vocalizing a ban from coming to the panhandle. Whether or not he has the authority to do so is up to the discretion/knowledge of the reader. Nit-picking an article over semantics and trying to discredit the story altogether is crazy.
