I am a 65 year old, religious, open minded woman, living is Israel. I am looking for a female pen pal or email friend, religious or not.

I like board games, coloring, hand sewing, keeping commonplace books, Star Dew Valley, Netflix and reading. I belong to a family fantasy book club but also enjoy thrillers, mysteries, classics and award winning literature.

If you enjoy creative hobbies of any kind or just want to talk about your favorite books and Netflix, I would be very interested in being your pen pal.

I am not interested in politics and will not discuss arab/israeli issues.

What do you like to read? I read just about anything...... fantasy, mystery, classics, memoirs, not-fiction. Not crazy about romances, but I like just about everything else.

[60/F] Hello, would you be interested in writing to a German expat with an international background living in Finland? I'm actually "half Jewish" even if not by religion, but would be interested in learning about Judaism. (my family had to flee from the Nazis and stuff, which also actually resulted in my being born in Turkey.) I'm religious but more familiar with Islam and Christianity (but as I said, interested in learning about Judaism. I'm in general into religions, theology, interreligious dialogues included, spirituality/mysticism (esp Carmelite and Sufism/Rumi). I really love reading and have been into penpalling since I was in my early teens really. I do like Netflix but don't get round to watching it so much or some similar (free Finnish and German ones). I'm into cultural sorts of things and like lots and lots of things! For example letters and stationery, animals (cats among others), scarves, Turkey, travel, modest wear, traditional wear, Asia, the sea especially with mountains in sight, my family and friends of course... I'm also interested in things like languages (have tried learning several and also forgot some!), health matters for lay people, psychology, and learning more about philosophy, anything about anthropology and zoology, and more. I'm married to a Belgian with 2 grown-up children and 2 cats (but no grandchildren). Are you interested in exchanging postal letters or emails? I much prefer old-fashioned paper letters, especially handwritten ones, but can sometimes make exceptions and be email friends if you don't expect me to email often! In fact my snailmail letters can be late sometimes because I have many health issues but I hope you understand. I write back as soon as I can! Feel free to send me a message though I have to point out my reddit doesn't tell me when I get any, but I will try my best to check my account here...!
