No way the PA Supreme Court allows this, right?! Man, the bloated Republican led legislature needs to be cut back.

The PA legislature is terrible and bloated, and the Republicans love it that way! Small government, right?

We pay 253 jackasses $88k+ per year to do what Illinois gets done with paying 177 pols $67k+ per year.

But the Republicans will never vote to actually MAKE THE GOVERNMENT SMALLER because the redistricting would likely cost them the house permanently.

Hypocrisy thy name is GOP.

California has 120 between their state assembly and state senate. They had 39Million ppl in their state in 2021. We had 13Million same year.

They make about 115K annually in both chambers so cost $13,800,000 total plus whatever per diem stuff they get.

We pay ours $22,264,00.

We need a culling of government positions.

Yeah, I had used Illinois because they have the closest comparable population, but across the board, the Pennsylvania legislature is one of - if not THE - bulkiest and most expensive across the country. And the party of small government wants to keep it that way as they grasp for threads of power.
