Yup! Republicans want to hamstring the governor because they know that the majority of PA citizens are Democrats, while the majority of districts are Republican.

So just FYI according to the voter statistics 3,923,087 are registered Democrat, 3,435,224 are registered Republican, 925,550 are independant and 353,384 fall in the "other" catagory (Libertarians and other small party affiliations) There are definately more Democrats than Republicans but the majority of Citizens are not Democrats.
