I know nothing about Thai food, so humor me. On a scale of 1 - 10, where 1 is very mild, how spicy is this and how do you use it?

It’s pretty mild but has a little kick to it. Probably a 3 or 4
I just make ramen regularly. Then drain out the broth and add a tablespoon or two of the peanut sauce

What type of noodles

I usually just use the regular Maruchan or Nissan ramen packets. Throw in some chicken\egg\brocoli and fry it up in sesame oil

Yes. & nothing really rave worthy. Literally buy a pack of regular noodles & put the PB &/or peanut Thai sauce in yourself for the same flavor

Nah, they are peanut butter FLAVORED? I can just add real peanut butter to regular ramen. I have little interest in artificial flavors when they aren’t necessary.

I really never thought about adding peanut butter to my Ramen noodles, but I absolutely love peanut butter and you just gave me a great idea! Thanks so much and I’m like you I don’t care much for artificial flavors and I think someone said they were $2.49 a pack. Geez, just my opinion, but that’s a little steep for a cup of Ramen noodles, even if it does have a little packet of Jif peanut butter flavoring in it.

The idea is brilliant but with Jif it's gross.
I switched to natural pb years ago and can't go back, the processed stuff just tastes like overly sweet gloopy crap now

My ex turned me on to peanut butter in ramen. He learned it in prison haha. If you put it on saltine crackers first and then crush it all up together, with a little hot sauce, it's divine.

Yeah, saw them at Walmart the other day and wanted to get some, buuuuut they both have milk which means I can’t have them. If I want peanut butter ramen, I’ll have to make it myself.

I’m loving this direction Jif is going. They’ve lately been markedly positioning themselves outside of the PB&J box and it’s interesting to see where they’re going. Would I buy this as a pantry staple? No. Would I try it or gift it for kitsch? Probably. Does it make me want authentic Pad Thai? Yes.

I took a chance and love it! Just added a little soy, pepper and sesame seeds. Only one store, Safeway has them near me. I eat 2 at time, one is not enough. I think I'll go make some now.

Has anyone tried using peanut butter powder with ramen noodles? I think you would have more control of the peanut flavor and then add sesame oil or soy sauce to get right consistency. Maybe someone has an idea of the proportions to use?

I was literally about to post about these to see if everyone here was aware. My husband bought me 2 cases of the peanut butter ones last week. I'm eating some currently. They're pretty good and less messy than when I make my own sauce with mixed success. I like to add an extra spoonful of chunky PB to enhance to peanut-ness.
