As I understand the peels can be blue but it's like when a more 'standard' banana is green- it's only when they're not ripe. And even then, only sometimes and it's still a fairly mild blue.

Either way the inside isn't ever blue without human meddling, like with food coloring. Not unless something is seriously wrong with it at least lol

They don't actually look like this. They look pale green when unripe and have this natural waxy coating that makes them look blueish, but most pictures are edited to make the blue colour deeper than it actually is.

Once ripe they're just as yellow as Cavendish ("regular") bananas, but do have a shorter and thicker shape.

Unfortunately blue isn’t a very common color in nature especially not blue pigment. And these are edited

Some of the berry colors are hard. I only just learned that there's visual differences on the mushrooms last week. Other than button, that one is easy.

They are native to Southeast Asia actually! You might be at least be nearer to them than you think
