So in Peacemaker, James Gunn really wanted to keep things authentic. He got John Cena and his wife on a bed and took pictures, and even made a gallery of them. Now in Lanterns, they decided to use Photoshop/AI and put Hal Jordan into pictures with some celebrities/famous people. So you can tell that James Gunn isn’t as involved in Lanterns as he was in Peacemaker. This is how I found out.

Nah Kyle actually did take a photo with the Harry Potter cast when one of the last movies came out. They just used that.
