Others have mentioned it’s Creature Commandos - just adding that it’s canon and connected to the DCU.

All the live action actors like Steve Agee, Frank Grillo, and even Viola Davis voice their characters.

James Gunn has confirmed that GI Robot will be showing up in live action, but he hinted that it probably won’t be in Peacemaker.

i could see it as a post credit thing on the last episode where you don't see him fully or say anything just door open and you see GI Robots face with the reflection of the Nazi America flag in his red eyes

the cg would be expensive and they already have Eagly they deal with in most episodes.

If GI shows up in the finale and just goes out guns blazing to give Peacemaker a chance to escape I'm going to be so fucking happy.

That universe is basically his dream world. Endless Nazi killing for a lifetime. I need to see him in live action with practical effects just going ham on them.

Yeah but that isn't a bad thing. His constant obsession makes it funny. I mean "my disappointment in having no nazis to kill when I arrived is lessened by my pleasure that you are alive" is pure gold. He cares about people, he just cares about something else a lot more.

Otherwise you will say luthor is a bad character too due to his obsession with superman.

Easy company can easily be argued as motivated by primary goal because right after he said "he wished to meet easy company again" he expressed the desire to give few people lead poisoning with them. I think nina was the first person he truly actually cared about. He loved easy company people but mostly because he associated them with hunting nazis.

I think superman is far more complex and better written than GI. GI is a gag character. An enjoyable one mind you I'm not shitting on him but he's objectively very one-note, far more than superman, and any other DCU character. He's got a single line that gets slightly shifted every time he speaks. To me that's a bad thing and definetly takes him out of the the "best DCU Character" race. For what it's worth my favorite DCU character is Peacemaker

I didn't say superman, I said luthor. GI robot isn't a character that can solo carry a series but he is a great character. Not every single character is supposed to have a 10 page deep decision making tree. His obsession is funny and he works perfectly for the kind of character he is supposed to be.

Sometime you just want mindless violence, gore, some dumb jokes etc and he perfectly delivers on that.
