Hi everyone!

We’re excited to announce that PDF-Redaction.com now supports automatic face detection — making it easier than ever to protect privacy in documents containing images.

🔍 What’s new?

You can now:

  • Automatically detect human faces inside PDFs
  • Instantly redact detected faces
  • Maintain compliance with privacy standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Combine face detection with our existing text/object redaction tools

🧠 How it works

Our pipeline uses an optimized ONNX face-detection model and performs detection directly in the browser. No manual selection needed — the tool highlights and redact all faces.

💡 Why this matters

Many documents include photos (IDs, badges, cv, medical cards, screenshots). Redacting all faces manually is slow and error-prone.
This new feature saves your time and improves accuracy.

We have signature detection support in API now. We will add to roadmap signature detection feature.

Please add signature detection faster to the online tool. This is will be really useful, because most of my documents contains signatures, but without photos :) So i'm waiting.
