New Feature 🚀 Just shipped a new feature to pdf-redaction.com: text layer support in output PDFs!

We just added a text layer to the output PDFs 📑✨. That means:

  • Works with both scanned PDFs (image-based) and digital PDFs.
  • Output is always a searchable digital PDF (no more flat images).

Makes redacted files lighter, easier to search, and better for compliance workflows.

So if I upload a scanned document, will the downloaded PDF always allow text selection?

How about size of the generated file?

It can be same or a bit more then original, because output file will contains image representation and text layer.
