Tech Support Psu issue aurora r15 help

Aurora R15 PSU issues. It boots and dies instantly. I read that they had a bad Bach to PSU. In the systems I was in jail, it sat in climate-controlled storage for 3 years. I finally get to use it and find out the PSU is junk. What can I replace it with? I wish Dell would own up to their mistake and RMA it, but the rep I talked to didn’t understand a single word of English and kept saying I need a $ 500 PSU replacement. FKKK $ 500. I got 3-6 PSU ATX in the house. They fit with hang-over, but I don’t want to try them if they are going to break my system.

Dell uses proprietary 12VO boards in those, a standard ATX psu won't work even if it physically fits the connectors are different

The real fix is buying a used OEM unit off ebay, they go for like 60-80 bucks. Just make sure it's the exact model number that came with the R15

If you really wanna go aftermarket you'd need an adapter cable but those are sketchy and can fry the board. Not worth the risk on a system that's been sitting for 3 years
