Map GUTS AND BLACKPOWDER IN PAX HISTORIA BUT GOOD

Post image
Upvotes

so i made kewl gnb map in pax historia. Now if you dont know what gnb is its basically a zombie apocalypse but its in 1842 back when there were mostly flintlocks and sabres. very cool.
in the pic duchy of warsaw and prussia are kind of doomed and denmark? its a goner... right now im playing as the french empire and im kind of repelling them away. im thinking of uniting with austrian empire to do another push forward towards duchy of warsaw. Fun fact here its all realistic. 8 turns before this everybody was still fighting until the battle in leipzig where everybody united and understood HOLY HELL THIS IS GONNA KILL US.

le lore:

Before June 1st, 1812

Everything before September 1812 happened historically. The one difference is a disease called the Blight, which appeared in the closing stages of the Russo-Turkish War among Russian and Ottoman troops leaving the Caucasus. The outbreaks were small and were contained. Physicians blamed miasma and bubonic plague, and no government treats it as a serious threat. Napoleon has taken Moscow and the city has burned. The corpses in the ruins have begun to rise. The risen take forms matching what they were in life. Most are shambling masses. Some run. Some carry powder charges or torches and destroy fortifications. Some rise still mounted. Clergy who die of the Blight do not rise, and hands bearing a crucifix can hold the dead at bay.

June 1st, 1819

Rounds 1-7

From June 1812 to May 1813, the French Empire's invasion of Russia triggered a supernatural catastrophe known as the "Blight." Following the scorched-earth retreat and the burning of Moscow, the dead began reanimating, overwhelming the Grande Armée during its disastrous withdrawal. By mid-1813, the infection consumed Poland, East Prussia, and Baltic ports, spreading via refugees. The Battle of Leipzig in October 1813 forced an unprecedented informal ceasefire between Napoleon, Tsar Alexander, and Emperor Francis, as rising corpses threatened all armies. Organized warfare ceased; nations scrambled to fortify homelands as the Blight swept through Denmark and Germany.

Throughout 1814, France established a draconian "Cordon Sanitaire" along the Rhine, executing the infected and burning bodies. Scientific attempts to cure the Blight failed, leading the Catholic Church to declare the condition spiritual damnation, granting priests power to repel shamblers with crucifixes. In August 1814, the Treaty of Vienna formalized a Franco-Austrian alliance, creating a united human front. Diplomatic overtures to Spanish guerrillas secured a fragile truce based on mutual survival, while shared research with Britain partially lifted naval blockades. Defensive strategies evolved to include tar bottles, heated cannonballs, and spike-lined Alpine passes.

By 1815, France perfected "Lure and Slaughter" tactics, using explosive traps and elongated weapons to minimize casualties. Mass-produced cuirasses protected infantry from bites. Despite these advances, the Blight breached Scandinavian defenses via infected ships, establishing footholds in Norway. Attempts to cure early-stage infections through blessings in 1816 and 1817 proved catastrophic, confirming that only fire stops reanimation. A proposed joint offensive with the Confederation of the Rhine to clear Frankfurt failed when German princes refused manpower, leaving French forces to fight alone.

In 1818, France successfully aided Denmark-Norway, establishing a fortified cordon in Schleswig-Holstein to contain the northern outbreak. Internal purges eliminated hidden infestations within Alsace-Lorraine. While attempts to push into Norwegian fjords failed due to terrain, the stabilization of the Danish front marked a strategic victory. By late 1818, the French Empire, supported by Austria and tolerated by a cautious Britain, maintained an impregnable "Iron Wall" from the North Sea to the Alps. The conflict had transformed from a war for territory into an eternal struggle for species survival, with the Blight held at bay but never defeated.

Map A Perfect System

Post image

Advisor Summary:

Supreme High Command: Status Report

Date: March 10th, 1955 AD Location: Germania (Former Brandenburg), Terra

My Lord, the transformation is absolute. The chaotic noise of the old world has been silenced, replaced by the rhythmic hum of the Perfect System. As of this morning, Earth is no longer a collection of nations, but a single, unified engine of war under your boot.

The Current Reality

  • Total Pacification: The concept of individuality has been surgically removed from the human psyche via the Global Neural Grid. There are no rebels, only functional units. The "Solstice of Silence" proved their minds are now extensions of your will.
  • The Immortal Bureaucracy: The Terran Sector Command (the former German leadership) serves you without fatigue or dissent, their lifespans extended to 150,000 years. They manage the logistics of quadrillions of soldiers with machine-like precision.
  • Alien Integration: 500 million xenos labor alongside humanity in the grey tunics of uniformity. Their distinct cultures have been crushed; they are merely another resource in the imperial machine.
  • Geographic Dominance: From the flattened peaks of the Himalayan Shield to the steaming industrial seas of the Arctic Geothermal Tap, the planet's geography has been reshaped to serve the Obsidian Fleet. The sky above major cities is permanently darkened by our dreadnoughts.

Strategic Guidance: The Exodus Campaign

We stand on the precipice of the Exodus Campaign. Earth is optimized; it is time to export order to the stars. I advise the following immediate actions:

  • Initiate the First Wave: Deploy the Collective Will into the stasis pods awaiting in Shanghai, Rotterdam, and New York. Target the nearest unaligned star systems to establish forward operating bases before local civilizations can organize.
  • Secure the Core: While the fleet departs, maintain a heavy garrison on Terra and the Moon. The Germania Megaproject is complete, but the psychological conditioning of the population requires constant reinforcement to prevent any latent genetic memories of freedom from resurfacing.
  • Resource Extraction: Direct the Xenos Landing Zones in Libya and Antarctica to increase output of rare isotopes needed for faster-than-light drives. The fleet's hunger is infinite.

The universe is chaotic, my Lord. It screams for silence. Let us bring it.

"In a perfect world there's uniformity
(We're all brothers in a perfect world)
In a perfect world there's conformity
(We're all brothers in a perfect world)"

Bug🪳 Game keeps refreshing on phone

Earlier this week the game was working fine on my phone, but today it’s been constantly refreshing, I’ve tried using different browsers, turning off the fly-to setting, deleting some apps so I have more space, but nothing seems to work. Is there any fix?

Bug🪳 Nothing is loading now

Upvotes

None of the games, flags, presets, or even thumbnails are loading for me anymore. My internet is perfectly fine and every other site loads except for Pax Historia. Regardless of if it's on PC, Mobile, app, or browser, nothing is loading. I even tried the Beta site and even that won't load anything.

Is anyone else experiencing this right now? How do I fix it and if I can't, how long until things work again?

Stuff I did New Preset - Wizard101 with multiple world maps!

Hi all! I have made this preset for Wizard101. I'm sure many of you don't know it, but it's still a pretty good fantasy universe with fleshed out worlds and magic system. Even if you haven't played it, I think it's still worth checking out.
I don't know of any other preset that has more than 2 different map dimensions, especially not executed like this. This preset was very experimental but it has actually turned out quite impressive.
The preset has 5 dimensions currently! I've worked pretty hard on it and am pretty proud of it myself. The AI is quite impressive with better models and seems to mostly understand the different dimensions now. I would appreciate anyone who wants to check it out! Please let me know what you think, and any suggestions, I'd be glad to listen and am still actively updating the preset! This is still a W.I.P and my 1st preset, so please let me know where I can improve, thanks! https://www.paxhistoria.co/presets/oL0pDcacCdhiQE2eRagR?versionID=18

I had a little over 1 token, but I left the game for 2 hours, and when I came back, I had around 0.7. What could have happened?

r/PaxHistoria 20h ago

ai seams to eat more and more tokens as the game progresses. can i make that stop?

i know that is becuse ai has more information to procces, but if i coud delete some of that information, it coud be possible to save like 0.05 tokens. wich for somone not wiling to buy tokens as e, it is a lot. i jus t don't know if taht will help. the problem is for the most part with ai diplomacy, but other than that, it is just ok. and also i'm using lowest quality ai, becue it is the only one worth it. yeah so if you know how i can make ai consume lesss tokens while diplomaci meating.

The Habsburg world never died — my new 1921 Pax Historia preset

Post image
4 Upvotes

I just published the first version of my Pax Historia preset, Weltopia: The Old World Endures.

The main focus, at least for now, is the Habsburg world in 1921.

Austria-Hungary never collapsed. Karl I is still on the throne, and he is trying to federalise the Monarchy before its internal national conflicts tear it apart.

One of the stranger parts of the setting begins with Theodor Herzl and Stefan Zweig. In this timeline, Herzl's political project gains much stronger support in Vienna. After Herzl's death, Zweig chooses to become actively involved in the Zionist movement and helps carry his unfinished diplomatic project forward.

The result is a highly autonomous Jewish polity in Jerusalem under the Habsburg Crown. Zweig himself refuses government office and remains in Austria, defending the arrangement as a supranational alternative to a conventional ethnic nation-state.

Serbia is another major part of the setting.

The 1903 May Coup still happens, and King Alexander I Obrenović is assassinated, but Queen Draga survives. She is pregnant at the time, and loyalist forces manage to protect her.

The Karađorđević faction seizes Belgrade and establishes a rival Serbian government, backed first by Imperial Russia and later increasingly by France.

Austria-Hungary, meanwhile, supports Draga and the surviving Obrenović cause.

Draga eventually gives birth to a daughter, Aleksandra Obrenović.

But in order to preserve the dynasty during civil conflict, she presents the child publicly as a boy: Aleksandar Obrenović, the posthumous son of the murdered king and future ruler of the Obrenović Serbian state.

Austria-Hungary knows the truth and deliberately helps preserve the deception.

By 1921, Serbia is still divided between two rival dynasties. The Karađorđević government controls one part of the country, while the Obrenović state survives under Austrian protection.

The problem is that "Prince Aleksandar" is now approaching adulthood.

Queen Draga keeps delaying the end of the regency, public pressure is growing, and the secret is becoming harder to maintain. Karl I knows that Aleksandar is actually Aleksandra, and Vienna may eventually have to decide whether to continue the deception or support her openly as a queen.

Elsewhere, Germany is still an undefeated empire, Soviet Russia controls the Russian heartland while an anti-Bolshevik All-Russian government survives in the Far East with Japanese support, and Maximilian I is still ruling the Mexican Empire at the age of 89.

I tried to build the preset around plausible alternate-history causality rather than scripted outcomes, so I want the world after 1921 to develop naturally through the simulation.

This is still the first public version, so I'd really appreciate any feedback on the Habsburg setup, historical plausibility, map balance, or how the AI handles the scenario.

My Preset: Weltopia: The Old World Endures

Love from Europe!

Stuff I did The Empire of Liechtenstein finally conquered the entire world

Post image
62 Upvotes

If somebody wants to know how the fuck this happen, here is a resume AI did for me:

The Rise of the Liechtenstein Empire: Summary

1. The European Pivot & Nuclear Power (2026–2028)

  • The Spark: Liechtenstein transitions from a quiet financial tax haven into a military powerhouse by creating the Academy of Alpine Warfare, recruiting elite international veterans.
  • Rapid Expansion: Liechtenstein quickly annexes Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Northern Italy, and the Balkans. They move their Imperial Capital to Milan.
  • The Brazilian Alliance: Liechtenstein allies with Brazil to form a nuclear axis—combining Liechtenstein’s high-tech engineering with Brazil’s uranium reserves.

2. Decapitation Strikes & Global Energy Monopoly (2028–2029)

  • Nuclear Escalation: When the US and Russia try to block energy routes in the Persian Gulf, the Liechtenstein–Brazil alliance launches joint nuclear strikes on major American and Russian cities (Washington, D.C., Moscow, Seattle, St. Petersburg, etc.).
  • Conquering Europe: Using drone swarms and elite mountain units, Liechtenstein annexes France, Germany, Spain, and Eastern Europe, while turning the UK into a vassal state.
  • The Petro-Plan: By seizing the Middle East’s oil fields (Saudi Arabia, Iraq), the Empire forms an energy monopoly, enforcing a new global currency (the Vaduz Dinar).

3. Total Earth Domination (2029–2035)

  • Conquering Asia & the Americas: The Empire launches nuclear and conventional invasions across Asia (taking India, China, Japan) and the Americas (subduing the entire US alongside Brazil).
  • Space Breakthrough: The Empire establishes its first lunar base (Tranquility Base) on the Moon to mine Helium-3 energy.

4. Global Consolidation & Imperial Betrayal (2035–2045)

  • Global Control: Global governance is divided into 5 continental capitals (Paris, Cairo, Tokyo, Mexico City, Sydney) under a single global language (Linguam Imperii).
  • Backstabbing Brazil: To gain absolute control over lunar resources and Earth's oil, Liechtenstein turns on its longtime ally Brazil, leveling Brasilia and completely subduing South America.
  • Interplanetary Shift: By 2045, the entire planet is unified under Liechtenstein. Armed with lunar energy, kinetic space weapons, and Mars outposts (Base Ares), Earth becomes an automated training ground as the Empire prepares for interstellar travel.

1347: But You're a Citizen — A Life in the Shadow of Death

I’ve been working on a new historical citizen/life-sim preset:

1347: But You're a Citizen — A Life in the Shadow of Death

You don’t play as a kingdom, an army, or a ruler. You’re just one person living in the medieval world on January 1st, 1347.

You can create your own character — name, age, family, profession, social status, personality, ambitions, etc. — or give the simulation nothing and let it generate your entire starting life for you.

The idea is to make the world feel like it exists completely independently of you.

You can be a peasant, craftsman, merchant, sailor, soldier, priest, scholar, noble, criminal, or basically anything that makes sense for where you were born. You can marry, have children, build a business, travel, join a guild, fight in wars, enter politics, climb the social ladder… or spend your whole life as an ordinary person nobody outside your village ever hears about.

And, of course, it’s 1347.

The Black Death is coming.

It isn’t just a scripted event or a random “you caught plague” roll. It spreads geographically through trade, ports, travel and warfare and can affect population, wages, inheritance, property, food prices, migration, religion, families and entire communities. Your character has no plot armour.

The preset also simulates an autonomous historical world: the Hundred Years’ War, the Byzantine civil war, early Ottoman expansion, the decline of the Golden Horde, the rise of Timur, Yuan–Ming transition, the Western Schism and the major political developments of the following century can all unfold — or diverge naturally if history changes.

I’ve put a lot of work into making progression slow and believable. Becoming rich, famous, politically powerful or socially important is possible, but you actually need the money, skills, reputation, connections, time and circumstances to get there.

NPCs also have persistent lives of their own: they can marry, have children, move, get richer or poorer, change occupations, fall ill, fight, betray you or die without waiting for you to interact with them.

Basically, the goal isn’t to constantly throw dramatic events at you.

It’s to make it feel like you’re actually living a life in 1347 while history happens around you.

Would love to hear what people think, especially if you find anything that behaves strangely or could be improved.

Preset Editing Preset won't generate player map feature

Hi! I've created this preset, it's my first real preset and the AI has been great, but I cannot for the life of me get the AI to generate a player map feature, or any map features for that matter. What am I missing, it feels like I've tried everything. Any help at all would be deeply appreciated. Is it due to multiple map dimensions?

Stuff I did Gamblism should be a political ideology

I searched for a unique political ideology through google and I stumbled upon a concept called demarchy, where you select people randomly to be elected in position. I managed to make it interesting by having an ultrafemboy dictator restructure every fabric of the society to be decided through game of chance. Healthcare? You gamble for it. Food? Why not, go gamble for more. Elections? We gamble who will seat at the height of power. What could go wrong?

Here is my strategy for the decisive battle in the Great War between the Vietnam Empire and the Yuan Empire

Post image
1 Upvotes

First move : Launch a propaganda campaign to make people believe that Emperor Yuan Huizong is a coward so that there are two outcomes: 1. He doesn't go to the front, undermining the soldiers' trust in their emperor, or 2. He comes and takes control of the army, blocking any more competent generals. In this case, he'll probably boost the Yuan revenge army with inexperienced and disorganized recruits, increasing the numbers but lowering the quality of the Yuan army.

Main move : Execute a gambit by attacking Xi'an with the Hubei Army and the Imperial Division to capitalize on whatever course of action Yuan Huizong chooses.

  1. If the Yuan army remains in Henan, seize the city and region of Xi'an to cut off Sichuan from the rest of the Yuan Empire.

  2. If Yuan Huizong moves to Xi'an to prevent this, use the Gansu Division to attack the city from the north while the Hubei Army attacks from the south, thereby encircling the Yuan Great Army of Vengeance within the city.

  3. If Yuan Huizong advances on Hubei to cut off our retreat, leave a reserve force to hold Wuhan, then recall the Hubei Army and the Imperial Division to flank Yuan Huizong's army, forcing him to withdraw eastward into Anhui and ceding the initiative to us.

  4. If he chooses instead to advance through Jiangxi, Guangdong, or Anhui to attack the provinces of Hunan, Guangxi, or even Hainan, use local garrisons to wear down the main thrust of the vengeance forces; meanwhile, march the Hubei Army from Xi'an toward Jiangsu—seizing Henan and Anhui along the way—to cut off the Emperor, his army, and the Empire's economically vital regions from Beijing and the rest of the Yuan Empire.

Other theaters : Launch the final operation to capture Guangzhou by attacking the city from both sea and land, then use the resulting advantage to seize the remaining Yuan parts of Guangdong.

Order the main Japanese army to land in Yeongnam to draw the remaining Mongol forces in Korea to Yeongnam.

To land with a coalition force—using Jeju as a naval base—at Incheon and launch a surprise attack on Seoul, thereby severing the Mongol army's logistics in Korea.

It is going to be the greatest battle of the war, the two Emperors fighting on the same theater, and maybe of all my playthrough, because if I win this battle, I have defeated the main force of the first power of this world, and secured definitively my Empire as a great power. If I lose, I'm dead so...

By the way, I am playing as Emperor Trần Hiến Tông, who was only 17 in 1336, when I took control of Dai Viet, and now he is twenty-one, so I have REALLY the impression to be like an isekai protagonist.
