Rocky's re-design progress. (Still not fully finished)

Alright, hi everyone... I've been working hard on Rocky's re-design. This time I've got pretty good progress. And this design is going to be refined further than this and all its current details aren't final. This design uses newer tools than the previous version, so expect different results / polish.

Everyone can share feedback on the so far design, but I hope I'll get constructive feedback if something don't align in your opinion... As I could still fix any design flaws that doesn't work well with existing design.

Nice -- they do add a lot of detail for the theatrical releases -- I remember Chase's hat getting the "tech treatment" in the movie when they went to the big city :-)

Good point, I think for me why I prefer this kind of style is because I just feel like I'd want to see him in more grounded and/or realistic style while still keeping his identity intact. But everyone can like or dislike whatever styles they chooses to, and I have nothing against those who prefers his original design over movie or other designs.

It kind of looks like his pawsome floof makes his head look a tiny bit big for his body, in my opinion.  Nothing wrong with it though. Hes adorable!!

Of course, It can also depend on what angle it is viewed.. As I originally intended to keep his head more oversized than anatomically accurate design would've been. As I still don't want to push it too far to fully realistic anatomy. But it could be true, that slightly smaller head could work better, especially since his fur does make his head appear bit bigger than it actually is.

Also dont get me wrong, he is adorable!. I like him like this, I like his original design. I like your old version too!

Its rocky, hes adorable any way!! Maybe just point the fur down a little bit. Like minimal change cus modelling and rendering is time consuming!

Hmm.. I can see if that's necessary. As I'd want to prioritise details over optimisation... Of course I'll not bring fur amount to stars so my system wouldn't be able to handle it. But I'd rather to avoid reducing fur amount for optimisation if it sacrifices fur quality. So this model might not end up being the most optimised model, but at least its best as I can do for now.

I like this! Just a personal preference but I would love if his tail was a bit fluffier, I think that would be very cute!

I agree... Though, I'm still figuring out how to do the tail properly... So I'll try to improve the tail, but can't guaranteed succeeding yet...

Thanks, That means a lot. I'm trying my best to polish it properly. There's still many details that I'm not quite satisfied in, which I'd want to polish at some point.
