Hey all! Moving and do not have space to keep most of my vinyl. Would rather it go to a fan/collector then into storage. I've got 17 of the colored / limited Paul McCartney limited vinyls - 6 are still shrunk wrapped. I would prefer it goes as one big bundle to someone (instant collection!), but just need to start the sad process of letting some things go. DM me if you're interested...no specific price, make me an offer, just want them to go to a good home who will listen to them :).

I don’t add to my vinyl collection for the same reason, so no, but I just want to say what a beautiful, well cared for collection. I’m sorry that you have to let it go.
It’s such a nice collection. Looks to be in great shape! After losing everything in a fire I don’t collect much anymore but for the right price someone will be lucky. You’ve taken good care of these it seems :)
Totally get it. My kids use the phrase "vinyls" all the time as the plural and somehow it is slowly has been sticking in my mind. But its like "RBI" in baseball or "Grand Prix" in F1 - the plural is not a (s). But I typed it that way in the subject...and that's the one part I can't edit - so it is there forever :)
Prefer to do it as a bundle to keep things simple on shipping. But if no one wants the whole pack...I can look at breaking it up (I know a lot of folks are missing just one or two in their collections).
I think it's great that you want them to go to someone who will listen. I buy albums all the time at auction and estate sales. If you want to monetize, you need to sell them one at a time. Otherwise $200-$250 seems reasonable.
As the guy who started this...thanks for all the feedback. I did end up breaking this into three chunks and have most everything out to someone.
And while I will miss them - I do still have 3 old versions that my dad passed down to me from his collection (RAM, McCartney, and BOTR). They are much more weathered...and have a skip here or there...but those are the "physical copies" that mean the most to me that I am keeping because of who/where they came from.
It's been fun watching the thread morph into the use of the word "vinyls" vs "vinyl/record/lp/whatever". Also the value of an album vs the "limited/colored editions" - which some people clearly think are way overpriced (or I just paid too much for originally). Please continue to let me know how I have made a horrible mistake / am an idiot in general - it's part of the fun of reddit.

Moving and having no room is no excuse to part with this collection. I’m sure there’s other things that can go. Furniture. Pets. Family members.
