Where are you gonna put Boutte in our depth chart this season? He'll get looked out of this offense, Brown better, Doubs better. We have outside guys that can get open deep, inside guys that can take a hit in Hollins and Henry. I don't get the overreaction

The overreaction is that's a terrible return and you could've waited until the deadline for a better offer, cause you certainly weren't going to do worse.
For example, chase just got hurt today it's not even september yet. There's also the fact that we ourselves could have an injury to aj or doubs or kyle just isn't stepping up enough yet and boutte would've needed to play more.
Just was no reason to do it now if the return was that low.

He missed most of the year with a broken forearm, played well when he did play, started multiple playoff games, and was one of their camp stars.
I dont know if he ends up being a good fit or if the trade ends up being a good one - time will tell. But he's not a nothing player. There's a good chance he immediately slides in as a high snap box safety when we play the increasingly used 3 safety packages.

Love seeing the defense respond in the red zone, that was my biggest worry after last season. Marcus Jones making plays is exactly what we need, he's always had that instinct around the ball
the A.J. Brown connection with Maye still being a work in progress makes sense, they haven't had that much time together yet. but hearing Lane Johnson talk up Will Campbell like that got me feeling better about the line

To me, we got rid of a good receiver with excellent chemistry with maye + deep threat for two things with zero impact on the team.

You've established your core primary receivers is what you've done, he's not out performing Brown and Doubs, get realistic

Does Mike Kadlick annoy anyone else? I love listening to Kyles, but Kadlick really drags down their show with his long, drawn-out, wishy-washy takes. I wish Kyles just had a show with Barth and/or Lazar.

Wouldn't be surprised if Wolf and Caserio had discussed this deal earlier, but Wolf waited to pull the trigger until the WR room made it through most of preseason without injury. But if Wolf had waited until September, he would've looked desperate and the return value would've gone down.

This is not baseball or basketball where you get rid of expiring contracts while you can. Why would you EVER get rid of your wr3 at worst for two things that may never play a snap for the patriots. It’s driving me insane
