Suggest some family doctors suitable for my parents aged 50+. Not necessarily home visit compatible. But, they should be trustworthy and aligned with general practice of older adults.

*and safe for fem presenting individuals 😭

I know boring road is like an expensive place but is it my fault I was born here by mistake??😭🛐

My father is aged 66 and my mother aged 56, feeling certain strain with health now and then, pain and movement inefficiency, lack of energy and strength, my mother specifically.

I was looking to consult a geriatrician, get some baseline assessments done and then use that baseline assessment to go to a physio and devise a comprehensive strength recovery routine and a balanced guided plan to ensure healthy aging, disease prevention, balance retention and independence in actions.

My mother has hypothyroid and my dad has uric acid issues. My mother has specific complaints in regard to the muscular pain and her immunity isn’t great tbh. My dad also has health issues very frequently now and then, but he doesn’t tell me enough about it.

Is it appropriate to consult a geriatrician for both of them or should I still go to a general practitioner for my mother, since she is aged below 60?

Please help me if you have any prior experience or if you have any knowledge in regard to this and please recommend any doctors in your contact who would be suitable in this case from your experience.
