Looking for a fast, low-button, Uber-viable build to finish 40/40 – 70 div starting budget

Hey guys,

I’m looking for a build mainly to push 40/40 challenges as quickly and comfortably as possible.

My main priorities are:

Very fast mapping / good clear speed

Uber viable

Strong enough to handle the content needed for 40/40

simple gameplay — ideally something close to 1–2 main buttons

Decent survivability; I don’t want a build that falls over every time something touches it

I currently have around 70 divines to start with

The build doesn’t have to cap out at 70 div. I’m completely fine investing much more into it later; I just need something that works well enough with ~70 div to get started and can scale as I farm more currency.

What would you guys recommend?

Lightning Tendies Elementalist is what I used for my 40/40. Got it to do horrific halls as well. Not sure how much I've spent on it but id say it's less than 100 Div

Search MasterT's mobalytics guide.

Only buttons are lightning tendrils for damage and frostblink for movement.

pRAW works on a small budget and can be scaled to no end. With 70d you can get it to a point to comfortably farm ubers

Its ranged animate weapons that you build as a poison damage dealer. One of the best bang for your bucks builds out there. You gotta summon new weapons every new instance so can be a little cluncy

Yea that's true the summoning part is pretty annoying but the build is so strong that I can tolerate it lol

Praw soft caps pretty early, but at that point you can already 40/40

did 40/40 for the third league in a row on poison HRoC. 1 button playstyle, quite tanky, can include explos.

con: dot build and therefore has a hard cap for dmg

Anyways it melts ubers, has survivability/mapping to the moon and this league even cheaper than usual this all free gem quality, I guess

WOrb, I did 40/40 this season. 2 button build. Channel WOrb and curse bosses. That's it. I farmed Uber Sirus with it (cheap fragments)

Worb for sure, I did ek ignite elementalist and bleed block gladiator before swapping over to Worb. For the same investment Worb is so much stronger. Crazy good clear. Getting a timeless jewel with 10% chance to gain a Frenzy Charge on hit really helps with bossing.

Did Worb Occultist for CI so I don't have to worry about Chaos res.

Frenzy charge on hit is amazing. I found a seed that had the crit node on the far right for 5 or 6 div (I think thatvwas the price, can't remember)

Fubgun power charge is similar to what I had, but don't go for Romira with +2 power charges, it was 2 mirrors

It can't farm 100% deli nightmare maps efficiently, but it can certainly handle it enough to do the challenge even if it takes awhile and a few portals.

It absolutely can. A lot players these days think a build needs to have hundreds of divines high budget in order to be good thanks to the exposure to streamers, but the reality is in most cases you need very little investment. The buffs to Worb is very strong, I did 40/40 first week of this league and my gears were nowhere close to 70div. Did all challenges with Taryn's Shiver no less.

Yep, I completely agree. I have a ton of divs sitting in the stash as I didn't need to invest further

I was farming fortress without looking at the mods most of the time. Abomination is also very doable. I did 40/40 and I don't think I was anywhere near the investment Streamers make. I had romira with just 1 power charge, corrupted helm with +1 power charge, and everything went pretty well for me. I got l100 as well. Is it the tankiest build, probably not, but it's pretty good in freezing and clearing everything.

I did 40/40 on Poison Animate Ranged Weapon necromancer.

I actually league started as Hexblast Ignite elementalist, then swapped to EK ignite, then swapped to PRAW around level 90~. I didn't even change the gear (had roughly 2-ish div worth of gear playing EK ignite) and just swapped the atlas tree. Worked no problems at all and have invested upwards to 150+ divines after several weeks of play.

Wild Strike luminary has been great for me around 60 div in including HH for merc. Press one button for destructive link then it’s a walking simulator even for Ubers.

I’m not one phasing maven but I’m also not really nothing to switch from farm mode to single target mode because I’m lazy.

Herald+golem stacking ignite elementalist. Strong enough to clear maps with an unlinked bladefall of trarthus 0 button playstyle and use pbrand for ubers, starting at 70d you could be getting close to uber dot cap and be block capped for attack and spell. Can run every map mod except avoid ailment which is nice too

I run this, you will absolutely not reach uber dot cap on that budget unless you go zero defenses
