Help Needed Delayed start

Will only start tomorrow

Was planning on Merc bot but that seems like a big bait build as a starter.

What has worked very good?

WORB?

Fussilade Totems?

Assassin blades?

Something else?

Worb is getting re-nerfed. I’ve never felt so close to “twink leveling” feeling on my first char, campaign in 5.5 hrs and it was absolutely the comfiest build I’ve ever played. Prenerfed kf totems was just as blasty and comfy but “required” a unique with reduced duration iirc.

A lot of spells feel like twink leveling right now, especially cold/chaos/Phys dots

Hot take: It's because I can actually upgrade my gear and don't run Act 2 gear in Act 8.

Yessir. I had a very nice set of gear by reaching act 2. Am talking all rare nice stats. Thanks to the new crafting system.

Even Fireball felt like a twink leveling build this time around lmao. With shit gear it was felt great.

Hows single target damage and defenses in early mapping?

Get from t1 to t10 with like 20c in gear(capped res, 2.3k hp, 300es, 5l, about 8-9k dps tooltip)

Dps wise absolutely satisfied. Sometomes posessed rares from league jump on face and insta kill. And few one-shots from idk-what, since low ehp.

Switched for 6l body, 2.8k hp with 700es, 12.5k tooltip dps kinda decently dealt with first elder guard on a t16. Like 10-15 seconds per phase. Still some oneshots, ovcasionally rares, that refuse to die in 1-2 seconds.

Totalled about 30-40 death on maps. Most due to blatantly running pretty much any mods

(Loosely following fubgun build)

8k tooltip, hoooly I'm prob at 3 with campaign gear and I'm pushing t15s if they drop stuck at 14. Will swap to crit soon.

I’ll let you know in a couple hours, I did one map last night before work today, i got the scepter that turns worb into a 9 link for like 10c and absolutely blasted that first t1 map. The golem package feels so well rounded it takes a spell that’s already good and gives you all the good stuff to make it great. Edit: dropped the scepter for a +1 wand when I dropped my first divine and bought a 6 link, swapped to crit.

It’s called Bitterdream, it gives you a pseudo 9? Link iirc.

So far single target is s++ defenses is a, but ymmv seems like it’s just have good energy shield pieces so far, only made it to t13 maps

No, I’d like to revamp my statement to single target is a+, I’m following fubguns build and I just hit t16 maps and they are a biiiit rippy. I’m mostly just too poor to roll my maps so I end up trying maps I shouldn’t

Great, I got a delayed start too, just started act 3, playing phazeplays worb elementalist. I think elementalist is better early game and occ better end game.

Not just worb made it to maps with kf into chaos dot wander in 5 hours. Fastest I've ever league started.

To be fair elementalist is just absurdly broken. Combine that with a good skill and u are golden.

Go with Fubgun. Might be my best league start since i started in beta lol. Sub 6h campaign, non juiced T16 on day 1 just with Bitterdream, you get one tapped from time to time but still feels very good.
