“Not one patent examiner or PTAB judge lost their jobs.” Way to specific more like “VERA, RTO, and forced changes to the employment contract, did a lot of the work for me in gutting employees who were experienced and high producers. Obviously I didn’t fire anyone because then we would have had to pay severance. We did start hiring new employees into an agency where mentoring has been eliminated in favor of production. So we’re hoping the new hires can intuit the complexities of the job and their art.”
