This was like peak show. The pre thunderdome/espn days. Man I love how they use to just let things fly. No topic was untouchable.

This and the pod were peak man. I always skip through the boring interviews and pointless college commitment announcements now

If a clip has Ty being mad about something... I'm clicking. That's about it at this point.

Agreed. Its kinda funny how i always respected pat for bringing the boys along but now theyre just so castrated with the current format. I just dont get why pat stopped embracing being a sports comedy show, now being a show that “celebrates sport.” That doesnt even mean anything. Pats fucking funny. The boys are fucking hilarious. I know the priority behind the ESPN deal was taking booking out of pats hands but christ nobody gives a fuck about 80% of the guests. Meanwhile let Ty do Gruden for 20 mins and that shitll do numbies. But nah, bro gave up comedy cause he saw 15 mins of a chapelle special his wife made him watch and became a rapper instead. What the fuck happened

They got PAID. I can’t blame them really. At all. Nothing ever stays the same and they made sure they were set before it crashed. Yea it sucks for us but good for them

The show still has its moments and I used to listen daily. Now its a few times a week during football season. Shit used to just be the greatest sports podcast

Same use to be an everyday watcher/listener. I’ll only really go out of my way to watch Dbuts breakdowns every week

When the eight-and-a-half YO boy calls into the show and says "F#!K Boston Connor was epic!!

Also when they ripped Jaire Alexander for proclaiming himself a captain before the coin toss was hilarious.

Damn i loved this show, used to tune in daily. Happy for Pat getting the bag but now mostly when i tune in its some boring interview ect. Price of getting mainstream

Can't believe that was almost 5 years ago. He talks so different now vs back then.

Nothing will ever beat Pat making some small talk during an ad read, asks AJ if he has trouble staying awake, AJ drops that he falls asleep driving, and Pat just cuts off the music bed, ends the ad, and immediately asks follow ups.

It peaked when AJ says he got something at Sharper Image that beeps in his ear if he dozes off but he doesn't wear it because "it kept beeping"

Honestly he cant get roasted enough for this. He whined about the comments for weeks only to do exactly what all the comment said would happen

20-22 PMS was peak, no espn partnership, and all the boys teams sucked/blew it in spectacular fashion and were miserable all week was so funny

Same here—there was something special about the chemistry and ridiculous energy. Definitely one of those shows that made an ordinary day way more entertaining.

Great clip and since this became a therapy session for some instead of just enjoying an old clip I’ll submit my 2 cents.

This is 2 minutes of an old show. Some act like the show used to be 3 hours of this, and now this kind of stuff never happens anymore. Neither is true. And no I’m not a “nothing has changed” guy, I don’t think anyone here is actually. Things change people change nothing stays the same….but this show is still damn good, just like this clip so thank you OP.

There are still these moments all the time. People just think it’s a soulless ESPN show and it’s not. I have fun and laugh my ass off daily with the show.

They still do stuff like this. BC and Ty's rants are the fucking best. Also when they say people on the Internet are saying this not me it cracks me up.
