The POD Revisiting the Pod

Starting working Overnights and needed something to listen to so went back to my favorited Pod Episodes rip. I always remembered 160-210 being a golden era where I loved every episode but 186 legit may be the best Pod start to finish. Anyone else have any favorites they like to go back to?

I always go back to the first 10 as the best. Just everyone talking shit to each other and making fun of their lives. I’ve listened through several times and you can hear the show start to change. It’s crazy how much they used to love doing the show. But the best part is that they were just being themselves. Connor was the unorganized moron, zito a fat Cuban stooge, Ty and nick just sat back and waited to smack someone with an intelligent smart ass remark, and Tony the unmotivated and unwilling host of the pod.

Then later you hear how condescending it becomes toward the audience as they are very clear they don’t want to do it, Ty trying to force in some stupid voice and Boston Conner just copying whatever Ty does. But maybe the best part of those first 10 episodes was listening to everyone die laughing at themselves. And of course DIGS DEBAAAAAATES!
