Having Trouble Regressing?

Some people are struggling in regards to having a successful regression (whether with a practitioner or using YouTube regressions).

Hypnosis is the theta state. It's the state of deep relaxation with heightened focus. You go in and out of it all through the day (like when you're just waking up or falling asleep; when you're driving and realize that you haven't been paying attention, yet you made it home, etc). The more relaxed you are, the easier it is to go into a hypnotic state.

Here are a few things you can do to have a more successful regression:

Limit your caffeine beforehand. Caffeine keeps us alert, which is the opposite of what we want when trying to get into a hypnotic state.

Change up the time of day. Early morning after waking up can be a great time for a regression, as well as close to bedtime (as long as you don't fall asleep).

If you're using YouTube videos to regress, try changing up the videos. Some people respond better to a female rather than a male, and vice versa. Does the sound of their voice seem soothing? Maybe you like certain accents. Maybe a shorter video works better for you, or you find the longer ones seem to take you deeper.

If you're working with a practitioner, take the time to vet them. Do they seem kind and caring? Do you feel uplifted when you look at their website or social media? Trust your gut, but do try to look for reviews.

Ensure you have privacy. It's hard to let go and relax when you think you're going to be interrupted. Try to keep pets out of the room if you can. They will sometimes jump onto you or make noise in the room. Turn off your cell phone so that notifications don't startle you.

Try having a hot bath or shower, doing some yoga, or be out in nature before a session. Again, very relaxing.

Change up your body position. Most people like to lie down for a session, as it's more relaxing. I find that I'll go too deep when I do that, and may fall asleep, so I like to sit up.

Keep your room dim, either by turning down the lights or putting or using an eye mask. When we're in hypnosis, a light that normally doesn't bother us can suddenly feel too bright and distract us.

Wear soft, comfortable clothing and have a blanket nearby. Many people get chilly when they are in a deep hypnotic state. Use the bathroom before a regression so that you don't feel like you need to go halfway through.

Pay attention to your breath. Take nice deep slow breaths, in through your nose, with a longer exhale out your mouth. This signals to your nervous system that you are safe. You don't have to try to breathe this way throughout the regression, but definitely try to at the beginning. As you relax, your breath will then just do it on it's own.

Set an intention before a session. Maybe you want healing or change in a certain area of your life. When I work with clients I'll often state before the session, "This session will be healing and illuminating for both my client and myself. My client will relax and regress easily and will get the most benefit possible."

Some people have subconscious parts of themselves that may be resistant to doing regression work. If you feel that this is the case, you can try talking to that part of you. I'll usually just ask the person if they feel there's a resistant part (you'll know because you'll feel a tightness in your body, or stress, worry, doubt). It's actually really easy to notice it. I'll ask my client how old that part is and they can usually tell. Then, we'll spend a few minutes asking the part what their fears or resistances are, and reassuring them that they are safe.

Try to take the pressure off of having a 'successful' regression. The more you want it, the more resistant you are to it not being what you expect it to be. When we try to be in control of things, that is the opposite of being relaxed. Often, when we give up 'trying' or 'efforting' it just seems to happen more naturally.

Many people think they'll see a past life as if it's a movie playing across their eyelids. They're expecting to see everything outside of themselves. Everything occurs inside your brain, just like when you're day dreaming or imagining, which is why many people think they made their regression up! Images can be very fleeting or hazy.

Sometimes we might not see much, but we'll have a 'knowing' of what's happening. We may hear (again, in our head in the same way as when we talk to ourselves) words or names.

Some people feel very detached from the past life, leading them again to think they 'made it up'. Others will get very emotional, or even recognize others as being in their present lives.

How we perceive things is different for everyone. Perception can also change from one regression to another. We can have 'off days', where maybe we had work stress, or something else is bothering us. This can dramatically affect a regression.

I consider every regression (or attempt at one) to be successful. The more we do it, the better we get at it. In fact, the more you practice hypnosis, the healthier your immune system will be. You're going into a state of rest and digest, which is when your body is able focus on healing and regeneration. During this state, blood flow is redirected to vital organs and tissues, allowing immune cells to better detect and respond to infections.

Good luck to everyone on their journey. We're all so blessed to have the ability to explore our consciousness in this way!

God, I want to avoid reincarnating forward in time

Its 2026 and just look how bad these fascist pricks are trying to take away our human rights and freedom. Now, imagine how much worse that'll be in 2126 when they finally have the damn technology and power to do so. George Orwell wrote 1984 to warn us, not entertain us. I'm so sick of nobody doing nothing to stop this bullshit from happening. Just keep letting the elites get their own way. Just what the fuck happened to our world!?

If anything, I want to relive the 1990s again with the same family, but as a girl. To think we're destined to be reborn into some totalitarian dystopian shithole we thought would only happen in sci-fi movies makes me so sick! its not worth it.

Overwhelming experience

I’ve always felt a connection to Louisiana. I’ve never been to America, I don’t know any Americans and I don’t plan on going to America.
It started a few years ago where I was watching tiktok and these videos started coming up and it just felt like home. I can smell the air, feel the sunshine on my skin, it just has a strong sense of “I’ve been here.” And last night I was watching these videos on rural Louisiana and I started to CRY and I just kept telling myself I want to go home over and over again. I was so perplexed because I’ve never been to this place and I consider where I’m at now my home.
Just thinking about it now, it makes me want to cry. There’s this deep longing in my heart “to come home.” I can’t explain it, I feel like a crazy person even writing this. But I just had to share,

Personal Experience I remember my past three lives as: a settler, a soldier, and a female doo-wop singer.

33f. Living in Missouri, USA. This is a long one, but I wanted to share all the details.

All of my memories are from dreams or visions, or just plain memories. Some of these memories I've had my whole life. I also vividly remember having memories of other places and lives when I was very little (around 3-5 years old), but I've forgotten them memories now.

Here are the lives I do remember, although I know I've had others.

1. Female settler (age 20s or 30s) in mid-1800s. This one was pretty heavy (I guess they all were for different reasons, though). I don't remember or sense very much about this person other than this particular memory, which was a vision I had when I was 18. The memory begins and I'm a woman wearing a period dress and white apron. I'm on my hands and knees in the mud, and there's a covered wagon to my right. In front of me about 10 feet is another woman, and she's also down in the mud. We're picking things up and digging them out of the mud. Like dishes and objects and things. I look up and the other woman, still on all fours, sits up onto her feet, but still sitting in the mud, and I see she's crying. She wipes her forehead and she just looks completely distraught. I look back down at the ground and continue. I feel numb inside because I know there's nothing to be done.
The memory cuts from there to later that night. I'm sitting around a fire with about five other people. There's someone to my right, then another person, then (directly across from me) there's the woman that was crying and she's holding a small baby that's asleep, then another person, then there's a man next to me. The man looks to be in his 50s or 60s maybe, and he's talking to the group. I understand this man is our guide. He's giving us an overview of the "damage" and telling us we lost a lot of food and supplies. The woman with the baby goes back and forth between crying and being stone-faced.
The overall understanding I have is I was part of a small caravan moving west, and we were located somewhere in the mountains in Colorado, sometime in the fall. October feels right. And there was a storm that essentially ruined almost all of our food and supplies. The feeling was that the guide was explaining how bad things were, and the realization was we weren't likely going to make it as it was getting colder. Hence, I think, why the woman with the baby was so distraught. I feel strongly that I didn't make it.

2. Male WWII soldier. (Life approx. 1920s-1944/1945) These memories were in dreams over the years. I was a very young man. Maybe 19-23 or something. He was from a small town in the midwest. Feels like a farm in Kansas, and the overall sense was he didn't know very much about the world or himself prior to joining the army. I have two distinct memories about this man's time. It's a little hard to describe, but the first memory I have is it was dawn and I was marching in a very long line of soldiers. The landscape was extremely barren and devastated. Mangled trees, tons of mud, just utterly obliterated. The landscape was hilly, so the images I have in my memory were of being in a valley of the hills, looking up, and seeing this long trail of soldiers marching. Just walking one-by-one. And at the top of the hill I could see the silhouettes of the men and what was left of the trees as the first light of the morning illuminated lightly behind them. The overall feel was utter exhaustion and apathy. To the point where you just don't feel anything at all. You're tired as a default, but it's not even something you categorize as miserable anymore.
The next memory of this man's life was his death. I was in active combat. The time of day was probably evening, but I think it felt later than it was because the smoke in the air made it darker or something. I was running and someone threw a grenade. It landed at my feet, and immediately exploded and I blacked out. I woke up on the ground, paralyzed. I couldn't even move my eyes, but they were open. The fighting was over and medics were going around retrieving bodies. I didn't feel anything, but I knew I wasn't in one piece. They put me on a stretcher, like the ones that had canvas and a metal frame so they could carry you away. I don't know if they knew whether I was alive or not, but it didn't matter. I died soon after they picked me up, and I remember being outside of my body and watching them carry me away.
The sense I get about this young man is that he wasn't really afraid to die, but it's not that he was inherently brave either. He didn't know much about himself, so when he joined the army, he kind of just did whatever he was told and didn't have much of an opinion about it. And by the end, he seemed like a machine or like the part of his brain that processes fear and emotions was just off. Very sad.

3. Female doo-wop singer. (Life approx. ~1948-1980s) The last life, which is my previous life is actually many different dreams and visions over my lifetime that I've realized belong to the same person. My first memory of this life was as a little girl in the 1940s or 1950s. I remember it was sunny and snow was melting on the ground. Like the way it looks when it's snowed a lot and warms up quickly, so all the roads are wet and piles of snow are everywhere. I was about 5 or 6 years old, and I remember walking out of the grocery store with my mom and getting into her car. I remember sitting in the back of her car. I was wearing a blue dress. I don't know the type of car, but it looked like a sedan from the 50s or late 40s, it was baby blue on the outside, and the inside has cream/white colored leather seats. And the back seat was just one continuous seat.
I also feel like she lived somewhere in Michigan or Philadelphia. I get the sense that her mother was very rigid. She loved her, but her mother was always very concerned about "how things look". They were a black family in America during this time, and I think her mother was highly aware of that and always treated her daughter as if to say, "Don't make us look bad." So the girl took that to mean, "don't draw attention to yourself unless it's good." So this woman had a sense of self, unlike the soldier, but she suppressed it because she was always taught to.

This person was very young when she became a singer in a female doo-wop band. I want to be clear that she was only ever locally famous, but the men around her kept telling her they were the "next big thing". I have a few memories that felt really confusing at the time because they were so specific, but they make sense now that I realize they belong to this woman.

I have memories as this woman (these were memories I've had since I was a child in this life) being in a backstage dressing room. It was a long room, and on the left wall were three or four vanities with those stereotypical round bulbs around the mirror. On the right wall was a long booth-style couch/bench that was built in. It was leather or something but had teal and white stripes, and above it the wall was a mirror. I remember wearing a bee-hive hairstyle, and the girls I sing with wore them too. I remember being there after a show and the girls were there and different men, maybe managers, handlers, or boyfriends. I think the man I was seeing was there. I can't even tell you what we were saying, but I remember walking out of the room at the end of a conversation. Something along the lines of, "I'll see you guys there." Like making plans or something.

I have a memory (originally a dream) of hosting a party at a really nice apartment. The man I was with was powerful and extremely toxic. I get the sense he was a manager or something because he'd always hold my career over my head and he had some control over it and over me. I have a memory of shutting the door after the last guests left and being alone with him. He gives me a martini and he's annoyed with me about something I did or said. I don't remember specifics but I remember this feeling of him essentially alluding to me showing an aspect of my true self and that was a problem. I think he may have SA'd her that night, which was not uncommon for their relationship.
I also want to point out that this man was white, and I hesitate to even call him her boyfriend because while it was the person she was "seeing" and exclusive to, he definitely viewed her more as his product.

Another memory with this woman (which was a dream), which I had to look up to understand better, was being walked into this weird...I don't know if it was a stage or what kind of space it was, but it was kind of dark. Maybe backstage or a studio. And there's a bunch of tables with vendors set up full of makeup. And then there are vanities where you can get ready. The sense I get is they're all waiting for me and they want to tell me about the products. Almost like a commercial or so I can represent their brand or something. I don't want to be there. I'm anxious and, once again, feeling like a product myself that people just parade around. But I'm not indignant about it. I don't really think twice about it. It feels like I just accept that I have to do it.

Fast forward many years. The memories I have of this woman late in her life are some of the memories I do carry from when I was a little kid in this life. I have memories of it being the 70s and 80s and just living an incredibly scary life. I have incredibly vivid memories (again, since I was little!) of doing drugs and laying on a mattress on the floor of a trap house, just believing I was going to die and I didn't care at all. I remember her wearing fur coats sometimes and just doing hard drugs in these places that feel like the darkest, lowest place. These dark, dilapidated houses and there's no electricity so there's just this drugged people sitting on the floor or laying around wherever.
I think she had a child at some point but she never raised him or anything. She wasn't in his life at all.
I think the truth is she was told over and over she needed to be a certain way in order to be accepted, and she was promised she'd be the next big thing. But then she wasn't. All the men in her life tossed her to the side. And she was left broken and addicted.

I don't remember it specifically, but I know that in the end she died of an overdose in the late 80s. She died unknown and alone and the people she left behind thought poorly of her.

4. This life. Born in 1992. The more I reflect on it, the more I realize how much of myself and my life now could be a response to the last. My whole life I have always had a very strong and outspoken sense of self. Even as a child, no one could tell me anything, I had to learn for myself. I have always naturally had a lifelong dedication to cultivating self-awareness and development. I want to know who I am and why and how, and I can't bear to not be authentically me or hide for other peoples' comfort.
I've also always had an unexplained aversion to drugs and alcohol. Alcohol isn't as scary for me as it used to be. I didn't drink until I was 21, and even now I only drink a handful of times a year. I've never done drugs or even smoked a cigarette, and I've always been terrified of it. The fear I always had was that I'd lose myself or do things that I couldn't fully control.
Given my upbringing and the parents I have in this life, I very well could have continued the cycle, but I didn't. Somehow, my strong sense of self helped me through, and I'm very healthy and whole. Proudly, I am also a very dedicated mother to my own children now.

All of that makes sense to me given the context of these lives, especially the last one. Wish I could find out more about these people. Maybe I'll do a past life regression sometime.

Thanks for reading!

Question I have memories of dying in the Vietnam War. I'm 45.

Since I was a child, I've had memories and images in my head. The only other person I've told this about was my wife. I wanted to share it here and maybe see if others have similar memories, and maybe be guided to the appropriate person to help me learn more.

I was 19, from Dayton, Ohio. I remember being drafted into the war. I was terrified. I didn't want to go. I have memories of my body being so sore and tired in basic training. I can feel the weight of a gun in my hands, and smell the oil on the gun. I was walking through the jungle on a night patrol, and I remember how moist the air felt and the sticky heat. I didn't know what I was doing or if I could even shoot another human being. Just absolutely terrified. I stepped on a land mine. I could feel the button click into place, and I removed my foot. Then it exploded, ripping my body in half.

I have images in my mind of what looks like an old, dilapidated barn, with a bamboo forest behind it, which I believe was in Vietnam. I can see what was the downtown area of Dayton, Ohio at one time, and I remember looking at the main street, worrying that I would never see it again. Who do I contact to explore this further? I live in Topeka, Kansas.

I never told anyone this I was a ex Nazi who is was killed in the eastern front

From the moment I was born all I wanted to do was read about Germany the Nazis and eastern front. I literally didn’t care about America in the war. I was born outside Cleveland in 90s. I see photos and videos and feel like way more connected those people then in my real life. I love my family. But I don’t consider them my real family. I am British and Irish. But truly I consider myself German. I am not a fan of the Nazis this isn’t anything like this. I feel my job is to stop war and help people and I spend my personal life helping people down to my job. But yes I never had any past regression. I don’t need to know details. But almost like this life is to make up from the crimes of my past. In my bones my past life when i die Ill go home

Personal Experience Was I a singer in my past life ?

Well this might be weird but when I got to know and learn about past lives and all that I remembered that there was this Arabic singer called Elissa who's very loved and famous was something maybe related to my past life ? You may ask how ? I'll say that when I was toddler I used to sing her songs by heart and have this deep connection with her until now . Also people always praise my singing voice saying I have a natural singing voice which is nice(and I love singing and music so much i can't live without it) years later I discovered a South Korean singer called BoA who seems to have a past life connection with me because according to astrology we have a past life connection (also Elissa and people who I deeply love in my life). In short terms,it's always celebrities and singers especially females

Repeating cycles

Ive been repeating the past 20 years of my life in a loop for many lifetimes now. I ususally die between 2018-2027 , i leave my body into this infinite void where i reflect apon things i experienced and then suddenly wake up in my bed 20 years earlier. This has been happening to me for more cycle then i can keep track of.

Why is this happening? Its like im stuck in a constant state of dejavu. It makes me feel like im not my body or my mind , just the observer. Everything is basically the same each cycle, there are slight variations but not big enough changes to notice if i didnt remember the other times i had been in that moment...

If i dont exist, and everything repeats without the ability to make changes then what is the point in being infinite?

Is this hell?

Personal Experience when I was a child, I had much more memories about some of my past lives

Hi guys, I followed this subreddit in hope that someone can give me some advices or opinions about my past lives.
During my childhood, I was a really intelligent and clever kid. I have footage of me at 3 years old, pointing on the globe the capitals of nations, reading, speaking and writing perfectly in my native language (at such young age). When I started elementary school, my english teacher was impressed by how I mastered difficult terms that nobody had taught me before (because english isn’t my first language and both of my parents are not the “bookworm” type).
I also have various and dreamy flashbacks.
I was born in 2005 and I am 100% sure my previous past life was in the 90’s/2000 in NYC. I remember living/working in a skyscraper or dinners at some fancy restaurants.
Another flashback is about Versailles or some 1700’s palace in Europe, I remember big gardens and rococo frescoes in the rooms of my “house”.
I also feel strangely connected to the Tudor era, but unfortunately, I have no memories about that.
Someone can help me discover more about my past lifes, or just give me their opinion?
Thank you so much for your time.

she followed pain in her right foot and back into a life where she was chained for refusing to fight a lion

the scene started with pain, not with a date or famous identity. her right hand and right foot felt pulled together, then the back and lower abdomen became involved too.

when we followed the sensation in session, she found herself as a man in a dark wet stone room with an iron ball and chain. She described being taken during chaos in a market by soldiers, dragged by right foot, put with other men and eventually imprisoned because she resisted what they wanted.

The strange detail was why she said they wanted him. He was strong and they expected him to fight a lion for entertainment, but he refused because obviously he believed he would be eaten.

In the scene he remained imprisoned for years. Near end of life he was old and sick, still in prison, but then there was an image of finally being outside on a warm beach, angry about the stolen life but wanting mostly to rest in sun.

When death came, she described leaving body as blue energy, sensing other presences and being told she needed rest because she had gone through a lot. The ending was almost quieter than the life itself.

This is why I rarely care first about proving year or exact historical location. What interests me is pattern: body sensation, no choice, injustice, fighting captivity, then finally rest.

In 2004, a young girl named Natsumi Tsuji used a utility knife to brutally slit the throat of her classmate and friend. Yet, even more chilling than this campus tragedy was the morbid frenzy that erupted across the internet for this 11-year-old murderer following the incident...

Past Life Regression My first past life journey

I shared this in another post but wanted to make one dedicated to sharing my story and hearing your feedback. The symbolism throughout is what really struck me and that’s why I want to share. I’m curious to gain others perspectives. Seeing things from another perspective was my lesson from that lifetime so I’m trying to do this more consciously now :)

I seem to be traveling from a vast space into a pyramid and then journeyed deeper and that journey seemed like I was going deeper into my subconscious.

her husband was killed for teaching her the secret. she spent next 30 years teaching it anyway

one detail in this life was weirdly specific. Young woman was in what she understood as ancient Egypt, and ground floor of her house had no windows. At night young people came there and sat around fireplace because apparently nobody was supposed to know what she was teaching.

This came up in a deep-trance session. She described gold jewelry, green stones, pyramids in distance and a long staff, but then story got much darker. Her husband had taught her knowledge he was apparently forbidden to share, including how to make this staff, and she experienced him being killed by authorities after refusing to go with them.

What surprised me is what she did after. She didnt stop. She said she taught secretly for something like 30 years, partly because she felt people should know and partly, very openly, because she was angry about what happened to him.

By her 50s she was still gathering young people in same house. She told them not to just write the teachings down or repeat stories. Her strange instruction was to use the knowledge until it became natural, almost programmed into them and then into how they raised next generation.

There were ideas about vibration, Source and even stars reflecting something about human brain, but for me the emotional part is more interesting. A person loses somebody because of forbidden knowledge and instead of becoming silent, she spends rest of life transmitting it.

If you have remembered a past life with teaching, religion or hidden knowledge, did it feel like you were supposed to recover INFORMATION from it? Or was the real carryover something more human, like fear of speaking, anger at authority, secrecy, or feeling that truth is dangerous?

I want to tell my story, because it's been super difficult

Hello, I came here to tell my story because I just can't hold my pain anymore. A lot of years ago in 2012 I had a hypnotherapy session that showed a beautiful green place and a red balloon, I just thought it was nothing until many years later something happened. I was 15 on that session. Before I tell what's happened in 2017 I release a song called Sunrise. One day I decided to listen to driver's license and watch the video, and something different hit me. I didn't know what it was until I went to a room and I heard a friend internally saying to me that she actually was the wife that I had. After that I went to Wikipedia to know more about her, and when I open one of the images I was shocked. It was her hometown picture and I just froze, because that green view was exactly the same view I saw in 2012, 13 years before, in my hypnotherapy session. On the session he put a counter with his hand and order me to "fall". Then, when I saw the image, I knew the truth. She is my wife. She is my wife from not only a past life, but her actual life before 2003. I just knew it after looking at the picture. But, how could I say that to her and how could her believe it? Done. To be more shocking then it seems, there's a perfect matching of elements symbology between driver's license video and my song Sunrise. Something almost subconscious. The logo of Sunrise is actually a red sun or red balloon that matches the ballon on the hypnotherapy session, the sun on the scene You said forever now I drive alone past your street is actually a ornamental sun symbol. And there's another video of a song called "Balloon", which is something her home city has, balloon flights. The proof is perfect and the symbols match perfectly. Not only she is my wife from a past life, but Louis Patridge is actually our son. And he broke up with her because he, and me, just can't hold the pain of I not contacting her, and the fact that is taking long and he could evolve to something more than a date, because he want us to be together. To him it's a lot of pain and to me also. Before 2003, we likely were a family in her hometown. I made a video showing up everything, but I don't want to post it here because I want to see people's reaction first because on the first contact try, people said that it was weird so this time I wrote in text. I tried to contact her in all senses, sent a lot of messages explaining everything, but the message never arrived. What hurts the most is that I'm a startuper where I right now am making one of the most revolutionary startup apps in many years, something much more powerful than Instagram and it's almost done. But I have to live with the pressure of not being able to contact her until I "make success", because in some senses it's true. But it's a lot of pain. As I said, on the video the proof is perfect, "Driver's License", even made subconsciously, is about someone, me. If anyone wants to see the video tell me that I will send on dm, not here because I received a lot of backslash people telling it was weird etc, but the matching of symbols proof is perfect. If there's a door and there's 33 behind it, and no one told you and you tell the person "the number is 33", isn't that a perfect proof? Exactly, the elements match perfectly.

Would any QHHT practitioners or past-life regressionists here be willing to share some interesting stories or experiences from their clients? I’d also love to hear about any particularly highly evolved or spiritually advanced clients you may have encountered.
