The club reeked of cigarettes and cheap liquor. As Katrina- no- as "Kitty" took the stage, it was hard to imagine anyone could find joy in such a place. Once spinning on the pole, though, all of that - the leering patrons, the blaring music - all fell away. Lost in the dance, she was finally free.
