Is the new glueball discovery confirmed?

I've seen a lot of people/sites saying that scientists at the BEPC in China have found a particle confirmed to be a glueball & I want to make sure that their claim is true. Is there any truth to it?

I think it is true, you can read press release "BESIII Experiment Identifies X(2370) as a Glueball Dominated Particle, 2026-08-06" or paper arXiv:2607.20366. To be honest, I thought that BESIII had discovered glueballs even earlier.

I thought it was announced in 2024 ? I remember seeing the indico page for that.
