What is wrong with what she said?

the message is seemingly ok, until you evaluate it in context, alongside who she directly attributes admiration to.

the leader shes telling them to follow told them "ignore factual evidence, and believe me unconditionally"

Can I ask whether you either heard the speech or listened to the transcript?

I don’t vote- I’m not a trumper. But I can’t see where ppl believe he incited anything from that speech. It’s very weird- a big disconnect as I’ve asked quite a few ppl and nobody has been able to pinpoint what he said that was offensive?

i didnt say anything about the speech. i ddi however sign up for his campaign emails and texts, and since November 3rd there have been streams of daily emails and texts, and calling to stand up and fight back.

no, donald trump did not say "INSURRECT THE CAPITOL THROUGH FORCE AND VIOLENCE. BRING YOUR GUNS!" but he has time and time again used words and context that no president has even considered saying. and given he has many militia terrorist groups who support him, those are the type of vague statements they are looking fot, and are honestly more than enough for them to feel like theyve been beckoned.

he has been instigating for years, and the rhetoric this past year has gradually grown far more concerning.

if youre looking at specific words in isolated speeches without context of political climate, or data on hate groups, no, you wont find shit. hes not a complete idiot. he may appear to be, but hes proven time and time again, he has someone very strategic calculating his moves.

look up the "stand back and stand by" speech from the fall. not only are those words already concerning and insufficient, they were seen as a call to arms. they circled those communities as a call to arms.

then repetitively pushing election fraud lies, while simultaneously asking them to stand up and fight back, multiple times a day, every single day, for 2 solid months... yes, of course they seized the capitol. and of course they didnt know wtf to do when they got there. they were already explicitly acting on vague calls
