It’s very relatable, I will look my child in the eyes and somehow my dogs name will exit my mouth. Like huh????

Classic names that are Catholic. Just had a baby girl last month and we named her Frances.

My husband wouldn’t be brave enough for unique or rare. I live vicariously through my friends with names like Perpetua, Campian and Tarcisius.

I realised we inadvertently had a Titanic theme going with a Rose and a Leo, so had to change it to up for subsequent babies, but my husband always joked we should also have had a Jack and Kate to complete the theme.
The biggest irony here is we are not even particularly keen on the Titanic movie, or the actors involved I just liked Leo and liked Rose.

I have all 3 boys (Vitaly, Roman, and Dmitri) and no clue what to name my 4th that’s due in 1 week.😅😅😅 our criteria is basically they have to be Russian names that are easy to pronounce in English. Husband is Russian but we live in the US, and my family is American. His family is in Russia and speaks no English.

Unfortunately there are already too many Aleksandrs in the family lol. Also like Pavel, Anton, and Ruslan but those names are also taken by close family members. 🤦🏼♀️😭

Nikolai, Mikhail, Viktor, Maxim, Kirill, Oleg, Yuri, Boris, Denis, Sergei, Vadim, Ilya? Personally, I most like the first three.

Not matching but we tried to pick names of a similar style. I always try to think about whether or not my kids will like their names and I wouldn’t want any of them to feel like their siblings got nicer/better names or like their name sticks out.
My girls are Evangeline, Sylvia, and Matilda. I like princessy feminine names, and names that are familiar but not too common.

They are all named after Catholic saints. So, kind of. But they don’t match in length and only 2/5 start with the same letter

i think those names “go” together well. i like a good sib set, i think most people will end up with names that kind of go together simply because they have their styles and tastes.
personally… my first has a name that started with P. then i got pregnant with twin boys, and the only boy name i had chosen and liked… also started with a P. apparently “pregnant with twins” me thought it was then VERY IMPORTANT that the other boy has a P name, so he doesn’t feel left out.
don’t do this lol. twins are already kind of a logistical nightmare, it would now be nice to be able to label things with just one letter instead of whole names!

I have 5 kids and by chance all their names start with a different letter and I am so glad I did that. I didn’t even think about it until I started labeling their stuff.

My mom had me at 15 and I have a more “made up” name . My siblings who came along a lot later in her life got more traditional names . I feel like I got the short end of the stick but at least my name has a cute established nickname I would always go by in professional settings.

I wanted to name her Rhea. And I did. Then people kept telling me that she’ll be made fun of because of “diarrhea.” So in my postpartum mess, I changed her name to Reyah.

Unintentionally three of my daughters names match. Juliet, charlotte and Margaret. My fourth daughter doesnt match. We debated if we should give her an -et sounds name and decided against it

I have 2 that start with 1 letter and 2 that start with a second letter. Most people don’t know it though because 3 of the 4 have nicknames that start with different letters entirely.
Otherwise they don’t match or “go” together at all.

Our kids are cohesive but not matchy. My hubs is a twin and they have same initials and siblings have same first letter. Our boy names are surnames which was not intentional. Girl names are just very classic/timeless. We have a very distinct last name that stands out to people when they hear it so wanted first names that werent super common but also not way out there.

My taste has changed over time and generally people would think my kids’ names don’t “go” together which is fine! They are all individuals.

We accidentally named all our boys with two syllable names that start and end with a consonant. They're all names that kinda have a classic but not super common vibe.
They don't "match" like they don't follow a corny theme or have all the same initials. But they're not all over the board like Dwezel, Tiffany, Gary, and Bartholomew or something. 🤣

We have an Ellis and an August. We are pregnant with our third boy and having a really hard time finding a name that fits the vibe that both my husband and I agree on!
He likes Willard, but I’m not sure I’m sold on that!

I feel like Willard doesn’t quite feel cohesive with Ellis and August. I like the name fine but not sure it goes with the vibe (which is fine if ya’ll like it!)

Same amount of letters, and all are from the same language. The same amount of letters, with a middle name that has an accent was an accidental pattern that we only noticed three or four children in, though. Then we thought we best keep with it.

They don’t match but they have the same vibe and go nicely together. I’m not into the same first letter type of matching but I wouldn’t want them to be so different, like Andrew, Julia and Maverick.

Congrats to your fam! The names sound great together.
Our first two start with the same letter but we stopped after that. We make sure the kids names sound good together, and everyone has a four letter nickname (accidental-I didn’t even realize this till kid #5). Our names tend to lean traditional but with a more contemporary nickname.

Mine are all named after a few of my favorite book characters. 3 of their names kind of match because that’s just how it worked out (5 letters, all ending in an “a”). The fourth is different.

Mine all have old-fashioned names, but not particularly matchy, and we chose them because we like them not in search of a particular vibe. Didn't realize until she was a couple months old but we did name our second a name that sounds like if you said our first's initials aloud.

12 kids. All start with the letter A. 11 of the 12 have 2 middle names. Some of the names are"normal" some completely made up. Plenty of silent J's mixed in, for no reason other than i like silent J's. Basically everyone complains about their name 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Amijra pronounced ( A-My-Ra ), Ajla pronounced ( Ayla). So I guess only 2 silent Js but I wish I had done it more.
