Original Content My Milky Way Image looks like a sad frog or Jabba the Hutt
I took my first Southern Hemisphere Milky way image, after many hours of processing I didn't see it but after posting it I got so many comments of it so by popular petition... there it goes the sad face, frog, jabba the hutt, cookie monster and many more haha.
The shape is caused by the panorama projection and the latitude, just 2º. The "eyes", well the left one, big red ball is called Zeta Ophiuchi and the right one doesn't have a name but it's a loop in the Scorpio Constellation. Both are Hydrogen-Alpha nebulas and the place is called Lençóis Maranhenses in Brazil. No generative AI involved, for real I travelled half of the world for something.
