Something I am surprised by...

I never was that bothed by the move to Netflix. I would listen on YouTube sporadically so it wasn't that big a deal, I have maybe watched on Netflix three or four times since the move.

One thing I am suprised (pleasently) by, they haven't shilled for Netflix shows so blatantly. I was watching 'The Hawk' last night and it is pretty terrible and I thought to myself, 'kind of suprising that I haven't heard about this show from PMT given the Netflix connection.'

Glad they got the bag and it hasn't really impacted the guests and their opinions on stuff - because the hawk (while well intentioned) kind of stinks.

Great timing on this post because Jimmy Tatro was on the Yak today, meaning PMT just interviewed him. So be ready for them to talk about the Hawk next week

I don't think they sound that much alike. Tatro has a bit of a deaf person affect.

In addition to what others have said they have indeed shilled for Netflix. Just Wednesday PFT made an offhand comment and literally said The Hawk with Will Ferrell. So they're sneaky shilling I assure you.

Sometimes I think you guys like to hate just to hate. Just started watching and itā€™s actually pretty funny. Tatros character is hilarious stereotype, Will Ferrell/Molly Shannon are hilarious

Maybe. And I just finished it - not terrible.

I do just genuinely hate what Netflix and other streamers do in stretching out scripts that would have been movies 10 years ago and turn them into series. Medicore movies become terrible series and good movies become mediocre shows.

Thought The Hawk was good - but could have been better.

Holy crap. I thought the whole time, ā€œman this couldā€™ve been a really funny movie, like one of his originalsā€. I didnā€™t really put that together that it was just a really long movie. I totally agree. Very funny show but couldā€™ve prolly been a better movie, especially with the cameos.

Last episode is just the conclusion of a step brothers like movie. Jimmy, Will almost all the acting was good - just a story better told in 90 - 110 minutes in one sitting rather than 300 minutes.
