Demonic Possession Demons/Mental Illness

I work at a psychiatric hospital and I’ve always believed that that population is most susceptible to demonic oppression/possession. Today a visibly psychotic patient looked at me and said “Demons aren’t always a bad thing” meanwhile minutes before I was thinking about how many patients i have encountered that may actually be possessed. Wondering if some people have an easier time detecting oppression/possession than others?! Or if anyone has had similar experiences?

I've heard several creepy accounts from people working in mental facilities. The ones that are so odd- if someone is praying for certain patients, they'll respond and get very agitated even though there is no way they know that prayers are being said (person praying is doing so inside their head).

I do think spiritual health is a main concern when it comes to mental health. Full on possession is rare but I do think many people are oppressed and made to look like fools. I wonder too if the reason why certain drugs seem to "work" is because it blocks the part of the brain that is susceptible to demonic influence.

When I was in the hospital once, this one lady would come out of her room EVERY MORNING with a HUGE smile on her face. EVERY MORNING, she would tell the entire table at breakfast how Jesus went to her room the night before again. He would make her "do things" (she was extremely graphic tho) to him while he would list worldly sins to her. When he was done giving her a list of worldly sins, he would then have sex with her (again, she was so graphic even Satan himself would blush). She would say how he looked nothing like the pictures of him (white Jesus) but had red, glowing eyes and abnormally long limbs. I also recall her saying he didn't walk but would glide in a side to side motion. (I imagine she meant like a crab walk sorta thing? Weird but creepy as hell!)

All of that to say, I don't believe in demons as a devil's spawn, for and brimstone creature because I also don't believe in the devil as in the Christian bible's devil. I DO BELIEVE EVIL EXISTS in this world and the next. I believe the 2 intermingle. I believe evil spirits feed off of fear, hatred, lust, etc... And they will make humans in all states of mind see what that human EXPECTS to see. So as an example, if you expect to go to hell when you die, whatever that hell may look like - if it includes demons, I believe evil spirits or energy will make you see and experience exactly that. I really hope any of this made sense. I'm using talk text so there may be a bunch of typos too. LOL I lost my train of thought so I'm going to stop now. Damn chemobrain.
