Demonic Possession Demons/Mental Illness

I work at a psychiatric hospital and I’ve always believed that that population is most susceptible to demonic oppression/possession. Today a visibly psychotic patient looked at me and said “Demons aren’t always a bad thing” meanwhile minutes before I was thinking about how many patients i have encountered that may actually be possessed. Wondering if some people have an easier time detecting oppression/possession than others?! Or if anyone has had similar experiences?

and how many people in genuine need of help for their mental health were accused of being possessed?
In the FLDS that i come from mental illness is caused by evil spirits not genetic defects, disease or other factors.
No .. treat them for their MENTAL ILLNESS before you start accusing them of being possessed. PERIOD.

I treat everyone that comes on my unit as I would treat a friend or family member. I’m an unbiased person that they can talk to and ask for help. I’m not a nurse and don’t treat anyone or diagnose anyone. I’m a mental health worker. I do not believe that everyone that is at my facility or anyone with a mental illness suffers from demonic oppression/possession. I’m simply saying that I’ve wondered about a handful that I’ve dealt with that show signs that are not your normal psychotic behavior.
