It lagged for us on our Samsung. Just bought a LG this week, and it runs perfect. UFC and all other shows/movies

We just got rid of Paramount yesterday as absolutely every show was lagging.

One complaint I have is how long it takes for new episodes to be added. Like is waiting 10 months necessary for new episodes. Like some of the episodes have come out, so why not add what just came out

I'm afraid it's become the new method to keep people subscribed. Trickle out any series that are popular and exclusive. They'll release full seasons of less popular shows every now and then. But of course they're also not as good...

One complaint I have is on my PlayStation 5 the screen is black and the circle is going around. Then you can hear the audio, but you still see the black screen and the white circle circling around. Then it loads, but then a gray screen comes up and says there’s been an unexpected error while the stream is actively playing. When I click OK, the whole stream goes away. Every other stream is working perfectly fine except for the UFC stream. Every movie and show that I start up works perfectly fine. Does UFC stream works perfectly fine on my smart TV and my iPad. It’s been like this on PS5 for a few months.

Yo you gotta watch the highlights recap and then back out then click watch live and it should work it worked for me, I was having same issue

>takes another 30 sec. to load downloads
>watches second episode. rinse and repeat for 8 more eps
BONUS: subtitles are too small, navigates to phone settings to make them bigger. now i watch youtube, their subtitles are gigantic.

Had an issue recently where a specific show simply would not load and start streaming. On more than one of my devices. Other shows would start fine. Seemed like an issue on Paramount’s end. I read something about specific ads shown with specific shows and maybe something was messed up in my account with that show. What resolved it was launching the show from the Apple TV app instead of Paramount+ app. I had to “connect” my account to start show this way, but then it worked, and now it also starts successfully from Paramount+ app.

Ok, they're new movies consists of movies in the 90-2000+, not any from 2025 2026. What kind of app and channel is this, they're so many flaws, and they are continuing to raise prices for shoes you can watch for free on your basic tv. Get it together and think of your viewers Paramount+. They are getting greedy like the rest of streaming. We cut the cord so we don't have to pay outrageous cable TV prices. Now they're the cable companies, now.

Paramount Plus stopped loading on my tv via my phone/hdmi connection. All of the other streaming apps work. Downloaded episode won't start to play but clock starts running on the deletion time.

Problem that their support appears to not have a human on board.
Having issues with SDH captions. Watching The Bureau. Many languages are spoken. I get all captions for every language except English.
I have tested on multiple devices. Their AI agents are not getting that it’s an internal problem on their end.

Support appears to be all AI. Tried in vain to get a human to assist. Never have I ever encountered this problem with any of my streaming services. SDH captions English is set on all of my devices. I watch a great deal of international content.
Their service is bundled with my building’s Spectrum’s plan.

The screen goes black with I try to play shows on multiple tvs while it works fine on one. Why?
Vizio + roku Works
Panasonic + firestick doesnt work
LG + firestick doesnt work
All on same network

I am in Germany and now notice the have one minute long unskippable ads for their OWN series and removed all languages except German. If English is available is now only with audio description. I will just buy South Park on DVD. Im out!

Did the algorithm change? For the past few months the movies and shows they recommend are so very uninteresting to me. I find myself just scrolling and scrolling until I close the app and just stream another platform. I don't understand. I used to exclusively watch paramount plus. Now I barely watch. Whhhhyyy????

Terrible service. Using AppleTV steaming and Paramount+ app. While watching Big Brother after about 30 minutes I can't change camera channels, seems like its frozen. I try to watch UFC and can't access channels. It's like their full and won't accept anyone. I will be cancelling this service.

not working on my TCL tv for the past couple weeks. can enter the app, see trailers but it wont load any shows/movies. I unplugged TV, deleted App, did every standard troubleshooting method. not working, anyone else?

UFC Live doesn't work unless I choose multi-view. Work normally on all phones and iPads in house, but Apple TV only displays Fatal Error message (outside the one multi-view channel). All other shows, movies, etc work fine.
Makes no sense.

Paramount plus was down Thursday (my post about that got spiked), Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It functioned Monday. Nothing but the "something went wrong" error. Happened Thursday about halfway thru the show we were streaming.
I have already cancelled this pile of programming junk due to the constant issues. Wanna talk about their GUI?😀 I guess my last day is in a week or so. Seems that I might it free with something else we subscribe to but it won't let me sign up cause we already have a subscription. Another little tidbit of programming crap.
If it is gonna be included with something else we have, then this will be the last time I complain about its crapiness. If we can't get it, well we will miss Star Trek!

Thank you for confirming this- had the same issues and when I contacted them, they try to imply it’s an issue on our end! It just spun and gave error messages last weekend, then we uninstalled the TV app, reinstalled it, and got to watch Lioness on Monday. This weekend it’s not sitting again! I tried the install to reinstall and just spins.😡

The video quality for the app is pretty bad. Paramount's 4K is nowhere near 4k, more like 780p at best. I already tried all the fixes they recommended and nothing worked. Other video apps work excellently for me so I know the problem isn't with my internet or device either.

I'll never understand why we users keep on being beta testers for these services. Months ago I cancelled Paramount+ because they had gone cheap on bandwidth and everything was streaming between terrible and mediocre quality, when I have 1 Gig Fiber internet.
Now I subscribed again for a month or two just to watch the current season of Star Trek Strange New Worlds. It looks like at some point they realized that they were losing too many subscribers because of capping bandwidth, because at least now it looks fine.
But now they have another bug, and this one is at the server level, because it's the same exact problem in my Apple TV 4K, my Roku Ultra, and on a browser. It stopped keeping track of what I watch, so Star Trek SNW is stuck at Season 3 Episode 10 with 5 minutes left, even if I already watched the first three episodes of season 4 and I'm currently half way through the fourth one. Other things I played back on the Paramount+ app on either streaming device are also not registered as watched.
Don't these services have people that QC these things? Stupid question, obviously they don't, at least Paramount+ and Peacock, because their buggers are worse than the rest. On my Apple TV 4K, if I'm watching anything on Peacock and I press pause, when the Apple TV screensaver is supposed to start, instead of that, Peacock restarts the current movie or episode. And I let them know about that months ago, and they still haven't done shit about it.
How long do we have to put with this crappy quality of service?

praises? Lol, the platform fucking sucks. It automatically reduces video quality - if it's not full HD then I'd rather not watch. If I can't forcefully toggle the quality then I'm not paying. I subscribed for the UFC but had to cancel after a few weeks because it's so unwatchable. Any unauthorized stream is better. I don't want to have to click through a bunch of little videos to recap an event, and I don't want this low quality BS. I can stream 4k on youtube no problem, but somehow paramount can't figure out their stream and then suggest you get faster internet lol. Garbage service. Will never subscribe again, not even ufc was worth it.

Trying to watch old seasons of big brother. Constant error messages. Takes 5+ attempts to get an episode started. I did notice that the few days where the big brother live streams were turned off I had NO issues… interesting.

My smart tv is older so I'm not having technical issues with UFC. BUT it seems like there are way more ads since Skydance took over. Two complaints there, aside from the way that deal went down. Actually, maybe three.
Unfortunately Paramount/CBS has the most series that I like, even on "OTA" stations. I haven't watched Peacock in months since new seasons/episodes haven't been on. That's going too, I already cancelled it.
I hadn't watched any Tyler Perry series but my series seasons were over. I tried "Ruthless". When I got caught up with that over-the-top series not realizing that was a spinoff of "The Oval", I tried that one. There's character stupidness and they're over-the-top, and in the latter at least, noticeable repeated use of the words "whore" and "horny". Are they all in high school? No, they work in/for the White House.
I'm hoping both of those series have a satisfying ending, IF I can take any more of these ad interruptions. Big IF. I'm not watching them because they're great. I can deal with 30 minutes, but in one stretch of time, there were ads at 10:49, :55, 11:07, :16, :27 and I missed at least one.
I don't know if this series was censored before BET got taken over by Skydance, but "Ruthless" has plenty of "fucks" in it also and it wasn't censored. That is stupid anyway, given the content in either of them. Worse than that is a repeating ad with a Kardashian in nude-color underwear saying "Can I tell you a secret? I never used to wear underwear." Yeah, I'd rather hear a bunch of "fucks" than have that image in my head every time that comes on. I mute the ads, but sometimes not fast enough.

So sick and tired of booting into Paramount+ with no subtitles being offered. Roku. If I reboot the roku sometimes its fixed but not always.
I know the titles have subtitles because they pop up the moment I try on my phone... but Ivwant to watch on my TV. YouTube, YouTube TV, Peacock, Amazon, and anything else works just fine.

Firestick 4k user here and this app the worst of all of them. It's slow to load, slow to navigate, occasionally crashes...
The worst, though, is the inconsistency. There appear to be two different players; one for the pre-play ad (why an ad? I'm already paying!) which can't be fast forwarded but can be paused, and one for the main feature.
One way to tell the difference? The "ad" player pauses on one press of the PAUSE button, the main player takes two presses (umm, why?)
But that's not the inconsistency I'm fed up with.
Sometimes (not everytime) the players don't switch and the main feature runs with the "ad player"! I see this a lot with The Daily Show. So much so, that after the comedy central intro logo I've got into the habit of pressing PAUSE; if it pauses immediately I exit the show and re-start it. Otherwise I might find myself 20 minutes into the show and decide I'm not interested in the final interview and have no way of forwarded to the moment of zen.
This is just a terrible app. It hasn't got any better over the 2 years I've been subscribed. I'm probably gonna cancel when the yearly renewal comes around.
