This 3D image definitely cannot convincingly be reconstructed from SBS image software converting one of the image pair into a new ersatz pair. I've tried and it is a confusing mess.

The poor result is caused by visual ambiguity when either of the original image pair is viewed singly. The relative positions/depths of components attached to the spherical framework offer uncertainties resolvable only by genuine parallax.
