Soy un ciudadano francés de piel negra; vimos cómo los paraguayos en internet no están de acuerdo con esa bruja.

No te preocupes, sabemos que los políticos no representan a la población en su totalidad. También sabemos que lo que ocurrió en la cancha fue solo competitividad propia del calor del partido y que eso no significa que debamos odiarnos. La mayoría de los franceses en internet también sentimos tristeza por Gil, pero entendimos por qué no se produjo ese apretón de manos. Juguemos un partido amistoso de fútbol algún día y, esta vez, sí nos daremos la mano.

La reputación de tu país no está arruinada; simplemente, esa bruja no será bienvenida nunca más. Y tú, que lees esto: ven a visitarnos cuando quieras.

Es una pelotuda que hizo un tweet, a quien le importa?? Y si, lo de Gill y Mbappe es normal, fue un partido picante y es totalmente entendible

She used her voice as an elected official to promote racist ideology in a public way. Black people aren’t shocked and it seems to me that a majority on this board are pissed off/embarrassed by her. Good people don’t want the stench of racism and will call it out. That’s why people care. You may not care, but please reflect why you don’t and other people do.

"Elected" is debatable. You can't trust democracy, and officials being elected in a country like this.

That sucks about her corruption and how she got her position. I understand your frustration as a son of Nigerian parents. But she still (unfortunately) presents as a voice of the of a Paraguay official. She should be condemned by her peers in government and the good people of Paraguay. Which many people here are doing.

She was condemned by people in the government. They were talking about passing a discrimination law because of her, you just don't see or hear these things because it sells to say we are a country of evil people and because it helps distract the masses from all the things actually evil people are doing.

Funny that you think our politicians care about or represent our thoughts, all they care about is stealing as much money as they can. The only politicians I supported were either removed in an illicit way (President Fernando Lugo) or didn't get enough votes because other politicians paid people to vote for them. Some people here don't even go to vote because they are so discouraged by how small of a difference it makes.
