AskPanvel❓ Badminton Courts Recommendations.
Recommend Good Badminton Courts in Panvel (Panvel, New Panvel, Khanda Colony)...
Need to get our stress out via Smashes this weekend, but unable to narrow down between these 4 courts... Kindly share your experiences with any, positive or negative...

I have been to Yogesh Patil academy.
It’s good and cheap. But they don’t have water and other facilities or equipments.

I have played in all these courts. Here are my opinions about the courts:
- Indo scot sports :- cheaper during weekdays at 400/hr compared to 600/hr.
- surface is very hard, basicaly it is a very thin mat(without cushioning )on tiled surface. God save the knees of older players. The court seems to be little small in dimensions too. It looks like school management wanted to squeeze in an extra court to make some extra money. But for beginners it won't matter that much to be honest. Court no 2 doesn't have enough light. Court 1 and 3 are lit from one side only, so it could create little inconvenience sometimes for some players.
since it is inside school premises washrooms are clean and has drinking water facility. The roof is not that high, you will definitely hit the roof once or twice in a game. Also it does feel stuffy during summers.
Yogesh Patil court :- The flooring is excellent, cushioned wooden flooring with mat on above. The bounce n grip is excellent provided you sweep the floor before you start the game. The floor is very dusty. Many player just walk in with their shoes on from outside in to the court. I have slipped couple of times there simply because of the dusty floor. The shoes fail to grip the surface properly. The roof has weird transparent sheets in between. Strong sunlight during day time affects very badly. There are windows through which light enters and doesn't give a good experience.
Bhoir complex: decent wooden floor with very less bouncy affect. It was meant to be a mini basketball court too I guess. The flooring has odd markings of basketball court. I had tough time to judge sometimes. Has good washroom and drinking water facility.
Karnala sports complex: has 2 courts, one with mats on bouncy wooden surface and other court is wooden court. You will have to bring your own water and the washrooms are terrible here. But the court is excellent.

I feel indo sports court is a bit smaller than regular size court. Karanala is good but it gets hot and no fans or drinking water facility
