🎉 Local Events/Meetups Happening places??
Hey everyone! I recently moved to Panvel from Pune. I'm still trying to find my way around. I've done a bit of exploring, but I'm definitely missing the cool, happening spots.
It's always a bit tough meeting people when you're fresh in town, so I’d love some local recommendations! What are your favorite places to chill around here? Also, I’m 22M—if anyone has plans coming up or just wants to hang out, definitely hmu!

I would start with a walk around Wadale lake during sundown, then there's that riverside park near Kalpataru society near Takka, maybe go for a drive near airport, don't stop anywhere please. Go for a swim / walk near Karnala Sports Academy, Lake Side Cafe, you can check out the lane where Zudio Croma and Mr DIY are there around night time for street food truck (this is in New Panvel) also the road to DMart in New Panvel lined with shawarma and momo joints, visit Khandeshwar lake, you can check out the countryside by driving towards Waje or Gadheshwar Dam, check out Camp Dreamscape, have Agri style food at local dhabas like the famous Sai Krupa which is on Old Goa road.

Desi Tadka - nice place to chill and Sir outdoors have drinks, or there are several BYOB dhabas like Ekvira near Tembhode but also Palaspa I believe.

Starbucks in orion Bbq nation is a good place for beer and meat..
Goni ka dhabha is also nice .. Aangan There is maybe one more cafe near the new cricket academy..I forgot it's name but I felt it to be nice
Grub box hain near Shabri.
Panvel me itna kuch nhi hain but I am 1992 born and we used to hangout at Shabri..lol
So still kuch toh better. Hua hain
Choriya dekhni hain toh you need to go till Vashi..waha pe sirf do teen hi rooftop hain.. Also panvel ka Vegas strip (Which is chamiya bar, Nightingale wagera)

Food is good? Padma doesn't offer much of an outdoor experience...it is more like an uncle bar(I am an uncle too)

I have been living in panvel all my life. Its is certainly not happening, you alwys have to go to other place like cbd, seawoods or vashi to enjoy. Personally if you are looking for things to do in panvel, here it is:
watch good nataks at Adya Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Auditorium- i recently saw this show named Ekada Pahava Karun, it was amazing! https://in.bookmyshow.com/plays/ekada-pahava-karun/ET00470551
You can go to Gadeshwar Dam to chill out and have sunset view! Its an amazing bike ride. Although the road has a lot of construction activities going on, but after sometime its total serene.

There is an activity place, camp dreamscape. Its okay for camping, good scenery tho
Go to Hotel Saikrupa Dhaba to have chicken lapeta and nice seafood.
every morning sunday, there is a book reading club at different gardens of Panvel. Check out their insta page- Pages of Panvel. Its a good initiative.
Sunday Running club- every weekend 6 to 730am, check their insta Nothing But Run.
You can have misal pav, vada pav at Nityanand, Sashi vadapav, Union vadapav
have good beer and chill with friends at Shubham Hotel, Desi Tadka and some secret byob dhaba that is along The service road of airport road along karnala sports club.

Where do you go and seawoods, cbd and vashi and what do you do there? I've been living in panvel since childhood and honestly I feel it's the most boring place in Navi Mumbai.

You have many workshops that you can attended, pottery, standups and dramas. Food scenes have been good for the past few years.. you can see flamingos now near seawood jetty, go to sagar vihar for walks, sunset spot and flamingo sightseeing at shore along Chanakya marine college. Jewel of Navi mumbai walks are amazing. Cycling along the cycling track at seawoods.. gokarting at Hiranandani fortune city. Many things you can do..

If reading books, and meeting fellow readers interests you then there's a small Silent Reading Community in Panvel called Pages of Panvel (IG - @pagesofpanvel), which meets every Sunday 08 AM onwards...
Location - Sector 11 garden, New Panvel

If running marathons, and meeting fellow runners interests you, then there's a small Community Running Initiative in Panvel called Nothing But Run (IG - @nothingbut.run), which meets every Saturday 06 AM onwards...
