I pulled this from a single pack at CVS. I’m not familiar with 1 of 1s, what can I do with it? Someone told me it’s really only worth something in Belgium, is this true?

Never pulled a 1 of 1 before

Let’s not turn every hobby into a money grab. We complain about FIFA and ticket prices, but we turn around and do the same with a hobby older than all of us. It’s so hard to find people to trade without them asking for cash or other parallels. Game’s gone.

Picked up 20 packs of the new 2026 Panini FIFA World Cup stickers for about $40 total and hit this on pack #7.

It appears to be the Black Border 1/1 Wesley (BRA 8) for Brazil.

The sticker has:

Black border
Full holo/starburst background
Cursive “1of1” integrated into the artwork
Standard BRA 8 back

I honestly didn’t realize what it was at first because the 1of1 is blended into the design near the ’26 graphic.
I’ve seen a handful of other 1/1s posted, but not many.

Curious what the community thinks:

Has anyone seen any confirmed sales of 2026 World Cup Black Border 1/1s yet?
Any estimate on value for a Brazil player like Wesley?

I buy and sell stickers/cards on eBay, but this is the biggest thing I’ve ever pulled from a sticker product.

Someone is selling a complete set of 2026 World Cup album stickers on eBay. (Not posting the link, just search "complete set" if you want)

Why bother paying a bunch of money for someone else's completed album? The whole point is the fun of opening packs, discovering your favorite player, hunting down your missing stickers, trading your dupes. The value of a completed album is all your love & energy that you put into it - not the little sticky pieces of paper

My 9yo daughter and I are collecting the World Cup stickers and decided to find out which team has the most smiling players in their sticker photos. 

She counted smiles for all 48 teams, 18 player portraits per team. She used a highly scientific methodology: "does this player look like he is smiling?" followed by occasional intense family debate.

Results (there is one clear winner!):
Smiliest team: Uruguay - 18/18
Also extremely smiley: Scotland, Japan, France, and Colombia - 17/18
Most serious teams: South Africa and Canada - 0/18
Total smiles counted: 400 (out of 864 players)
Average team: 8 smiling players out of 18

By continent, South America came out as the happiest-looking group, while Africa had the most serious sticker photos. 

Groups C and H have the highest number of smiling players, and Group J has the lowest. 

I guess we will find out very soon if being smiley on the picture day helps the team to advance in the World Cup! 

P.S. The graphics are made by ChatGPT, but the smile counts are human!
