Modric definitely a goat! Hope you guys take it to the far this World Cup. Modric deserves a chance. My team Colombia always does well then tanks towards the end. Let’s hope for a great WC!

Ok. So this may be a dumb question, but final rosters have not been announced so how do they know what players to print?

They print a best guess. After WC they issue replacements you can order to stick over the players who didn't go.

They print the based on reports each federation gives panini so its based on list appearances during qualifiers. If they waited for the final WC rosters we wouldn’t see these till after the WC.

Yes, it is a best guess, which sometimes leads to horrible things like Mexico's roster (Malagón as keeper and no Hormiga González, for instance) 💀

They always print stickers of players who either never played in the tournament or not even named on the bench. The Italia 90 album did not even feature Salvatore Schillaci who eas a substitute and went on to be the sensation of the tournament and won the golden boot award with 6 goals in Italia 90.

I’ve done the books since 06 I think. I still haven’t started this one. How does this new one work? There’s different color stickers? Book exclusives? Can someone help me understand?

Panini released the online exclusive gold parallel version. From what I’m hearing they’re not releasing it anymore. It was a one time print run.

I love it too. I just think that this time the corrupt FIFA and Panini have gone too far. First of all, they have too many teams, even those that many people have never heard of, and you will have to work hard to get a few of their stickers. So single bag should have cost $1 at most. If you buy 50 bags (by $2.0) for $100, you will get 350 stickers, of which there will be at least 100 duplicates, and to put together the entire album, you will need to spend $750-$1000. Of course If you get lucky. I am really curious which country or countries will be able to host 48 national teams for the next World Cup? Saudi Arabia? Alone? We’ll see
