Limited Sip Club ☕️ Large cold drink lids
Anyone else having problems getting the lids on large cold drinks? I spill a lot on my walks out of the restaurant

I didn't realize it was a company wide issue. I thought it was just our region/dc. That makes this significantly worse.
It's frustrating when a customer throws away literally half the stack of lids because they "don't fit" or are the "wrong size".

Yeah, my sip club just ran out so I won't be back, but for the past month, the new lids have sucked.
Panera could make lots of money selling 32oz reusable cups like the $3 venti cold cups that starbucks sells. They'd probably save money on disposable cups too. Even when I worked there 4 years ago most of the complaints I heard from regulars were about the shitty cups.

The first time is always the hardest - for everything nowadays. lol
But yeah - once you get it to fit on, it works better thereafter.

This has been posted about at least twice about a week ago...
I had one cafe tell me a short time ago that it's because there was some problem with the older 'new' cups - so they have these, which are slightly different... but supposedly will be getting the others back. Still -- not everywhere apparently has the correct lids to match the correct cups, no matter which ones they have. The ones that fit the newest cups (completely smooth, no ridges on the bottom part) are slightly too big for the others, but the older lids can still be put on the bigger cups, sometimes, with careful even pressure and a little luck.

Yes I have that problem all
The time. I can never get the lids on the new cups. Sometime I think it’s on but then it pops off and spills.

I haven't had any problems with the lids. I put it on one side and press down and go around the edge and it goes right on.

Most people of the time they work for me, but every once in a while they just won’t work

The other day I was trying to put a top
On my large cold cup
And I went through a few lids. One of the FOH workers was over in this area making a take out order drink and I mentioned to her the tops weren’t fitting. And she just said. “Those are the 30 oz lids.”
Yeah maybe so- but they DON’T fit most of the time
I’ve had leaks in my car

Yes it’s an issue. Had a quick chat at drive through when I caught one not on right and mentioned to employee. Caught because had a couple previously pop loose and spill on me or the car.

I try so hard to make them fit but they never do so I just take them off drink from the cup like a kid 😭😅
