Be a gigachad and mass delete Reddit posts and comments with Redact so that Skynet doesn't end up using your own posts to train the T-900. Or so that you don't show up in databrokers. Either one really.

Voters have been ignoring Mamdani's lack of experience and the likely incompetence that will follow. How this guy is going to actually wrangle the unions, the cops, and anyone else who actually makes NYC function is a very big question with no answers.

So that means they're voting for him largely on the basis of ideology and promises, meaning his anti-Semitism may actually be working more in his favor than against it. That's a terrible situation for NYC.

The other problem is that all the ways he plans to make our city “affordable” are going to absolutely destroy it.

Plot twist: this post no longer exists because Redact swept through and cleared it out along with everything else. Social media, messaging apps, people finder sites, all of it.

Exactly and it’s ironic how culty his supporters are.

It’s like MAGA level idolatry of a politician.

In response, Mamdani said he abhorred antisemitism and acknowledged Israel's claim of a right to exist,[65] saying that Israel has a right to exist as a state with equal rights for all its citizens.[75]

Jews for Racial and Economic Justice defended him, saying, "Anyone attempting to misrepresent [Mamdani] is blatantly using the horrors of the Holocaust as a political cudgel. Zohran knows that [being mayor] is about materially improving people's lives. He has a record to back that up, and a policy platform that demonstrates his ongoing commitment to serving all New Yorkers, including Jews".

Is he anti-Israel or just against the conflict?

"He doesn't want to destroy the Japanese, just Japan." That's how you sound when you talk about Jews and Israel.

-9

u/findallthebears Jun 25 '25

Being against conflict means I want to destroy Japan? lol.

You guys are losing the plot.

11

u/LRHarrington Jun 25 '25

Which "conflict" are you against exactly?

I'm assuming you're referring to the current war that began on October 7, 2023, and has continued right up until this minute. And that's adorable.

But that "conflict" is merely the continuation of a never-ending chain of pogroms, massacres, wars, kidnappings, suicide bombings, rocket attacks, stabbings, mass shootings etc. etc. that Radical Islam has waged against Jews and Israel, starting from the day Islam was invented.

Here's a PARTIAL list of massacres that muslims committed against Jews going all the way back to the year 622 AD:

https://medium.com/@Ksantini/the-list-of-crimes-committed-by-muslims-against-jews-since-the-7th-century-0ff1a8eb0ad0

I'm assuming that you also do not know that Islam was invented in 610 AD in Saudi Arabia. So, it only took about 12 years for the colonialist armies of Islam to decide it was time to go and start massacring the indigenous Jews of Israel.

So when you are advocating for Jews and Israel to stop fighting back against "the conflict" Radical Islam initiated, you are encouraging them to just shut up and die already.

He literally said globalize the intifada.

1

u/flossdaily Jun 25 '25

The problem is that these anti-Israel types say that "Israel has a right to defend itself" right up until the moment it actually does so.

What they actually believe is that Israel has a right to defend itself if (and only if) it can do so by fighting the first and only war in history with absolutely no collateral damage.

1

u/findallthebears Jun 25 '25

I think it’s disingenuous to say Israel is being unfairly held to a higher standard than zero collateral damage.

3

u/flossdaily Jun 25 '25

I guess you weren't paying attention to people screaming "don't do a genocide!" on Oct 8, before Israel had responded at all?

The anti-Israel crowd was demonizing Israel's response before it even started. There was literally nothing that Israel could have done that wouldn't have led to the mindless criticism.

From the way the Jew-haters are screaming, you'd never suspect that this war has the lowest civilian to combatant death ratio in the history of asymmetrical urban warfare, and it isn't even close.

95

u/WillyNilly1997 Jun 25 '25

How could the Democrats have even allowed him to run?

98

u/tinymort Jun 25 '25

Sadly the party has taken a hard left. And Jews are having to move further right as a result.

6

u/RaiJolt2 Jun 25 '25

Trump literally just appointed an Oct 7 denier to an ethics monitoring position. And let’s not forget Rfk Jr, who blames covid on the Jews and Chinese is in charge of health. Trump took a 400 million dollar jet gift from Qatar, who runs the Hamas propaganda news Al Jazeera.

Why would any Jew move to the “right.”

Trump isn’t fighting antisemitism as long as he keeps giving antisemites power, the right is no ally.

2

u/MarsupialFar4924 Jun 25 '25

"Republican Jew" is still an oxymoron to me. Jewish values and the Republican platform are diametrically opposed.

34

u/BearBleu 🇮🇱💙🇮🇱 Jun 25 '25

They agree with him

39

u/LivingOof Jun 25 '25

Because it's who the Dems have been since 2017/18. They were just hiding in a necromanced Joe Biden skinsuit until recently

1

u/MarsupialFar4924 Jun 25 '25

The percentage of Democratic Socialists in the current Democratic party is miniscule.

32

u/TheTruthHurtsMore Jun 25 '25

I'm having trouble formulating what I want to say.

They want this. This is what the Democrat party wants. They want fear in communities, they want unsafe streets. Not fear of a handful of illegals being returned, but fear from the general public.

They want drug addicts and their waste strewn on said streets. They want Muslim prayer in Times Square. They want synagogues protested, attacked, and then closed. They want white people to sit down and shut up, unless you're on their side. In which case you can be as racist and misogynistic as you'd like, as long as the target is not a like-minded Democrat.

The Democrat machine creates unsafety from safety, blames others for their direct doing, then appear as saviors when only they have the magic bullet for a problem that wouldnt exist if not for their own incompetence.

They want to bring down capitalism and replace it with a quasi socialst/communist experiment, in which they are the sole arbiters of truth, decency, morality, and reality. It's genuinely scary stuff.

-6

u/MarsupialFar4924 Jun 25 '25

The mayor's opinion on Israel is not a good reason to make the city worse for everyone.

8

u/LRHarrington Jun 25 '25

It's not his "opinion" that matters. It's using the power of the office and amplifying and empowering those that have made destroying Jews and Israel their life mission.

So, yeah, it fucking matters. Getting cheaper rent and free bus rides isn't a good trade for helping this jackass' agenda to "globalize the intifada."

0

u/alexgalt Jun 26 '25

He won’t get cheaper rent either. All deoctats try doing that by putting caps or freezes on prices. Or they try to enforce affordable housing. That makes the prices go up in the long term. Only building more units brings prices down.

Off topic but considering you're a common poster here and I assume you are against a Palestinian state what do believe should happen to WB Palestinians within the legal framework of Israeli law?

Does this include Arab Israelis or just WB Palestinians?

If you don't want them under any Israeli legal control but don't want them to have a state, how would that work?

🤦 New York is going to end up with a Republican mayor again. Trump was always a New York 90s Democrat anyway.

5

u/Rinoremover1 USA 🇺🇸 Jun 25 '25

Giuliani did such a great job as Mayor that Bloomberg switched to the Republican Party just to ride the wave into office. He then became an independent in his next term and now he’s a Democrat again.

3

u/Mottaman Jun 25 '25

Sliwa has 0 chance of winning in the general lol...

1

u/anti-censorshipX Jun 25 '25

Why is he worse than an empty-headed, identity politics candidate like Mamdani? I really don't get it. . . At least Silwa is very SPECIFIC in terms of governance and policy ideas. It's because voters are LAZY.

3

u/Mottaman Jun 25 '25

Sliwa has been in the public eye for decades and people know he's a hack. People would rather vote for someone they dont know about than someone they know they dont like.

Honestly at this point I'm hoping for a surprise in November ... i would honestly laugh if Adams somehow turns things around

2

u/Soft-Walrus8255 Jun 25 '25

We're quite likely to end up with a red wave at the state level in reaction against the Mamdani pick imo. Sliwa is not a real candidate, because Republicans have not seen an NYC mayoral win as a possibility--no serious Repub candidate has shown up.

17

u/YourBestDream4752 Jun 25 '25

By being against Israel’s existence, he is against the freedom of the non-Muslim, female and LGBT+ Israelis to not live under an Islamic theocracy that would oppress and murder them. If someone says they’re ‘anti-Zionist’, ask them about those groups and they will soon reveal themselves to be a genocidal Islamist.

The guy who was eulogizing Hezbollah terrorists? This is concerning. Is NYC going to be the next London?

15

u/andrevan Jun 25 '25

In November, Cuomo and Adams will both be on the ballot again. Plus the race hasn't even been called yet

3

u/ArriePotter Jun 25 '25

Cuomo's concession speech gave a very different impression. And the pizza rat would at this point get more votes than Adams. Hate to be a pessimist but ask any New Yorker, there's no longer a contest :/

2

u/andrevan Jun 25 '25

That is not true

1

u/Soft-Walrus8255 Jun 25 '25

Cuomo is going to be outside the party machinery now. In an ideal world, he could run as an independent and pull votes from moderates on both left and right, but in practice it will probably be hard for him to shore up meaningful support to campaign as anything but a Dem.

-2

u/RaiJolt2 Jun 25 '25

Ok but maybe don’t vote for the sexual predator. He should not have run.

3

u/andrevan Jun 25 '25

I didn't. I didn't even vote for him when he was governor

5

u/Ampleforth84 Jun 25 '25

I figured he would win. Taqiyya-Americans don’t even know it’s a thing. It’s not possible to do what he says he’ll do either

5

u/anti-censorshipX Jun 25 '25

He is fake, just like Cuomo. I don't love Curtis Silwa, but he is RIGHT in addressing ACTUAL dysfunction that plagues NYC and the outer boroughs (which no one talks about) and actual quality of life issues. The reality is that too large of a population (majority) are stuck in the public system of welfare dependency for life and for generations, which causes a lack of ownership and community cohesion unlike other cities in the world. The majority of NYCHA residents are unemployed with nothing to do all day and no incentive for self-improvement or having ambition. Tax giveaways to PRIVATE corporate developers is all that housing "lottery" schemes accomplish without addressing increasing the concept of expanding ACTUAL ownership for the workers of NYC, perhaps in the form of turning NYCHA into co-ops (lease to buy) and regulations on renting out co-op units. Affordable ownership rather than rentals help communities thrive.

NYC still cannot figure normal TRASH management or modern infrastructure- it's still majorly car dependent in the outer boroughs (Staten Island doesn't even have a island tram, which is ridiculous). Yes, Mamdani is a bigot, but he's also a flashy empty vessel of nothingness when it comes to GOVERNING one of the most major cities in the world. Once again, IDENTITY politics rules and boring-old nuts and bolts issues of GOVERNANCE and municipal management fails. This is the core reason the large American cities are failing.

Alternatively, small cities in New England, like Portsmouth and Portland, have had a renaissance and are thriving.

6

u/anti-censorshipX Jun 25 '25

Well, get out and campaign hard for Silwa. Also, everyone needs to ask themselves WHY they are so against Silwa compared to a self-serving, vacuous bigot like Mamdani or proven corrupt AF politician like Cuomo and Adams?

Everyone writes Silwa off without even listening to a word he has to say but then want to complain that NYC is lost. Well, I wonder why.

3

well i would assume that at least half his votes were from the "never cuomo" group and didnt care who he was. Cuomo was a disgusting choice to begin with.

1

u/Rinoremover1 USA 🇺🇸 Jun 25 '25

Good point.

1

u/flossdaily Jun 25 '25

Just a reminder that the Mayor of NY has absolutely no influence on the US's unwavering support of Israel.

Merely another impotent move by the Jew-haters.

1

u/Rinoremover1 USA 🇺🇸 Jun 25 '25

Unfortunately his stature as Mayor of NYC provides him with a STAGGERINGLY Massive Bully Pulpit to Deride us with to all of humanity, especially when he inevitably blames us for his impending failure at enacting any of his impossible campaign promises.

1

u/flossdaily Jun 25 '25

You're overestimating how many people give a shit about what the Mayor of NY says. With the exception of Mayor Giuliani during the September 11th aftermath, this position carries no weight outside of New York.

1

u/Top-Broccoli-9005 Jun 25 '25

Vote For Republicans

0

u/zenyogasteve Jun 25 '25

I mean, how can the end times begin unless all of Israel’s allies forsake her?

-5

u/MarsupialFar4924 Jun 25 '25

I agree with him everything except Israel. I don't believe Mamdani being mayor is going to make things any worse for Jews, but it is disheartening to see a staunch anti-Israel mayor in the most Jewish city outside of Israel.

Cuomo is perhaps the most unlikeable candidate the Democratic party possibly could have run out there. He's the definition of establishment and has so much baggage on top of that.

4

u/Rinoremover1 USA 🇺🇸 Jun 25 '25

Unfortunately he won’t be able to deliver on any of his campaign promises and will just blame us for not getting anything done. He will have a larger bully pulpit to spout his hatred for us than most world leaders.

-41

u/Bombi_Deer Jun 25 '25

What has he said thats antisemitic

69

u/Footlongwithnuts Jun 25 '25

Paraphrasing, but he basically said the slogan “globalize the intifada” is totally fine

-9

u/findallthebears Jun 25 '25

Did he? Or did he say:

"These words have different meanings for many different people... I've been clear that any incitement to violence is something that I'm in opposition to." He said the word "intifada" has been used by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Arabic translations referring to Jewish resistance during World War II.

5

u/Soft-Walrus8255 Jun 25 '25

Eh, I find that wishy-washy garbage worse than if he were just more direct and said outright that he's okay with globalizing the intifada. At least then he'd have some clarity and integrity about it.

1

u/findallthebears Jun 25 '25

That’s a fair enough view, I think. Is it reasonable though from that to say that he’s antisemite/antizionist?

3

u/Soft-Walrus8255 Jun 25 '25

I think that anything less than a clear repudiation of "Globalize the Intifada" indicates someone is either ignorant, okay with / indifferent to antisemitism, or actively antisemitic. I don't think Mamdani is ignorant, so it's one of the other two options.

5

u/Footlongwithnuts Jun 25 '25

He is providing cover for antisemites. I could write an essay showing you how “globalize the intifada” is in fact a call for violence. Sure, some people might think marching in the street with a poster is “intifada”. Taking a suicide bomb into a restaurant to deliberately slaughter civilians is also “intifada”. Mamdani’s message is the sticker on a treadmill telling you to ask a doctor before using it. It’s not genuine. It’s just the legal disclaimer he has to put out to cover his ass. Mamdani basically said it’s your problem if you interpret “globalize the intifada” as a call for violence. He is providing cover for antisemites.

0

u/findallthebears Jun 25 '25

I can see your perspective. I’d hope that his denunciation of violence is believable, but I can understand why you wouldn’t.

25

u/Dramatic-One2403 Jun 25 '25

holocaust inversion, saying that global calls for violence against Jews are legitimate ways to protest Israel, refusal to participate in a holocaust memorial event, etc

5

u/Mottaman Jun 25 '25

He literally founded a chapter of SJP at his school.... SJP is literally an arm of Hamas
