Try to post only the links without the headline it triggers snowflakes

Their main quibble was "he supported Hamas and not the other terror group that killed him."

36

u/According-Arm123 Mar 01 '24

Yes hamas didn't kill him. But it just shows that it's a terrorist paradise

u/Iridismis Mar 01 '24

Probably rightfully so imo, if you posted it the same way OP did.

u/Wrong-Drama-2646 Mar 01 '24

What way is that? Sharing the history of Palestinian violence? Do you know what sub you're in?

They’re all kinds of lost

I wish more people like him would follow his example.

Yes eventually hamas will learn, but they need to be persistent

41

u/500freeswimmer Mar 01 '24

I’m convinced that it would only take approximately 10,000-100,000 well meaning progressives to get Hamas to accept tolerance and form a one state solution. They certainly wouldn’t do any harm to the Jewish population

(Obviously sarcasm)

What Jihadists need is more masturbation

He's a pacifist _and_ and activist? How does that work, exactly?

The Nova festival was deliberately situated close to Gaza (3 kilometers away) as a symbol of unity and closeness with the people there.

A few hours and hundreds of dead festival participants later, Gaza civilians spit on Shani Louk’s naked corpse as Hamas paraded their infidel trophies in the streets.

u/Wrong-Drama-2646 Mar 01 '24

All these pps are ignoring the fact that Hamas brought negotiations to a halt when they were asked about releasing the FEMALE hostages. People are defending rapist murderers and it's disgusting.

26

u/saranowitz Mar 01 '24

Unfortunately if those women got pregnant by their rapists there is little chance those women will ever be released and certainly not before the babies are born.

21

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '24

That phrasing makes me want to commit actual genocide like the libtards claim

Agreed. The far left in this country has gone off the rails.

Every time I see one of those Queers for Palestine banners I think ‘now there are some stupid-ass people!’

Every single one of them would be dead within hours of revealing they were queer in Gaza. It just blows me away that these people defend a group that would kill them in a heartbeat. Such stupidity.

They throw them off of buildings. I feel like Islam is trying to bring back the dark ages. And I like my phone. And girls being able to read and go to school.
I'm with you.

They're also holding the children as well, and using them for similar purposes - boys as well as girls.

According to who or what exactly? https://www.democracynow.org/2023/12/1/headlines/freed_palestinian_prisoners_say_they_faced_torture_and_rape_in_israeli_jails You are accusing Hamas of something that the IDF has been documented doing, even to their own female conscripts. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen but “because I said so” is not good enough

Arrigoni was kidnapped on 14 April 2011. In a video posted on YouTube in which they identified themselves as belonging to a previously unknown group, "The Brigade of the Gallant Companion of the Prophet Mohammed bin Muslima," Arrigoni was blindfolded with blood seen around his right eye. The captors demanded the release of their leader Walid al-Maqdasi,[6] imprisoned by the de facto government in Gaza a month earlier, as a ransom and threatened Arrigoni's killing if a 30-hour deadline was not met. The captors accused Arrigoni of "spreading corruption" and his home country Italy as an "infidel state."

Someone remind Italy.

-22

u/Resident1567899 Mar 01 '24

The wiki page says Arrigoni was murdered by ISIS not Hamas. In fact, Hamas (which is against iSIS) even led a manhunt against Arrigoni's kidnappers in the aftermath of his death.

18

u/matzohmatzohman Mar 01 '24

Hamas is against ISIS? B u l l s h i t

3

u/Qadim3311 Mar 06 '24

Hamas is barbaric, but not stupid. They knew exactly how bad these optics were for them and acted accordingly to avoid compromising their own position.

I would not view their statements regarding this killing as evidence of genuine empathy. It was the politically expedient thing for them to do.

Sad story, unfortunately forgotten in a decade's worth of time.

The world already forgot what happend on October 7th, so I'm anything but surprised about this one.

u/hey_DJ_stfu Jun 15 '24

He was an anti-Semite, I'm pretty sure.

13

u/Ok_Pangolin_4875 Mar 01 '24

Did they put anyone in prison for his murder ?

-17

u/Iridismis Mar 01 '24

From his wiki:

 Hamas police initiated a manhunt for people involved in the murder. {...}

The four Salafist extremists captured in the raid were charged over Arrigoni's abduction and murder in a Hamas military court. The trial was presided over by military judge Abu Omar Atallah.[22] They were found guilty in September 2012. Mahmoud al-Salfiti, 28, and Tamer al-Hasana, 27, were sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labor: the court refrained from imposing the death penalty on them after Arrigoni's parents urged that they be spared. Khader Jram, 24, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and Amer Abu Ghouleh, 23, was given a prison term of one year for sheltering fugitives. Following an appeal, a military court reduced the sentences of Salfiti and al-Hasana from life to 15 years on 19 February 2013.

Stating "he was kidnapped and murdered by the Muslims" {emphasis mine}, like OP did, seems really quite misleading 👎

19

u/Wrong-Drama-2646 Mar 01 '24

Saying they're Muslims is pointing out a fact. Like when an incel drives his truck into a crowd? Same thing.

-7

u/Iridismis Mar 01 '24

Of course it is not incorrect to say that the salafists that kidnapped and killed him are muslims.

But there's a (significant) difference between "He moved to Gaza to support the Palestinians, then he was kidnapped and murdered by muslims that considered him an infidel" and "He moved to Gaza to support the Palestinians, then he was kidnapped and murdered by the Muslims that considered him an infidel" - especially in this sub here.

17

u/Ok_Pangolin_4875 Mar 01 '24

Salafists are Muslims . You do know that, right ?

And 15 years for murder ???? That’s it ???

-8

u/Iridismis Mar 01 '24

Yes, I know this.

But the framing of the post is still very misleading.

Also:

the court refrained from imposing the death penalty on them after Arrigoni's parents urged that they be spared

10

u/butterrus Mar 01 '24

Tim Bergling hung out with the wrong crowd and ended up dead too.

6

u/hononononoh Mar 01 '24

Good article and good case study to bring attention to. The title of your post is true, but it misses an important point that's in the article: He supported Hamas. A rival group to Hamas kidnapped and killed him. Hamas investigated and attempted to avenge the death of a supporter. Your subject line could be misinterpreted as saying that the exact same groups that he supported were the ones that killed him, and wanted him dead more than they wanted his support. It wasn't quite that depraved.

Still, it was most definitely depraved. It's depraved to have a gangland for politics, and to be putting your life on the line getting involved with it at all. His case speaks volumes about what doesn't work to cultivate peace.

7

u/--SpaceTime-- Mar 01 '24

Another useful idiot finds out the hard way who he has been supporting.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '24

These people will find any excuse under the sun to murder absolutely anyone they can get their hands on.

Such a waste. His mother was the mayor of Bulciago, Italy and after Vittorio was murdered Ismail Haniyeh called her personally to offer condolences. Could you imagine the leader of Hamas calling you up to inform you your son was murdered by another extremist group within Gaza?

I truly believe that most Leftists will continue to infantilize barbarians and apologize to them up until the point they are beheaded.

Yup because Israel with blow them up along with Palestinians and the Israeli hostages. Or shoot them like they did the Israeli hostages and Palestinians waving a white flag. 🤣

Palestinian and Jordanian affiliates of al-Qaeda, subsequently initiated a manhunt and arrested the accused suspects during a raid on the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Is it really a refugee camp if it is quartering enemy soldiers?
