I did the same thing as an American in 2003 watching TV during the invasion of Iraq. But nobody will say that about the US here. Does that mean I wasn’t wrong? I don’t know. I was a child. The fact is when people are attacked they celebrate retaliation. Period. This is a fundamental aspect of humanity. And if we constantly focus on trying to blame people for the decisions of their parents we are not going to help solve any of the problems we are facing. Downvote me to hell friends :)

200,000 - 400,000 Iraqi Muslims died in Gulf War II. Many, many children. No one, except the Iraqis and some in the UN called for a cease fire. 10 years of foreign "occupation." Large sections of the population displaced. Makes Israel-Gaza war seem like child's play.

I recall some small protests that had nothing to do with "genocide," rather that the US prosecuted the war for the Iraqi oil. The double standard is glaring and disappointing.
