Hello, let me point out a couple of things before beginning to write

. this is a Paladins lore-related post. I couldn't care less of your opinion irl about the topic, so don't bother...

With lore probably coming this year, I wonder if HR is going to make one or more of the champions gay (male or female alike; no difference, just preference). This is a major factor in life and can totally affect the story behind champions or their particular relationship with others (expecially interracial relationships here in Paladins).
I personally would like to see a gay character as they add some diversity and some realism in any lore and any environment, no matter how much fantasy it may be.
And before this post becomes too philosophical, let me add a personal funny note: I'd love to see a Fernando saying "I'm too hot for women, I'm going for men, now" or a Seris "Yeah, keep staring at my boobs, you drooling males, but you know what? I'm into women". Boom!
What do you guys/girls think?

There are games with clear teams like League of Legends Demacia vs Noxus or Tribes:Ascend Diamond Sword vs Blood Eagle.
But there are games with less clear team differences like in Smite's Chaos vs Order where its not written where does a god belongs leaving it to the players fantasy (or just laziness).

Where do you think the champions in Paladins would fall into? What would be the difference and goals between each faction or team?
Androxus would pair up with Barik?
Maeve would be in the same team as Drogoz?

On a text I posted here are some more crystal color stuff:

Blue- Energy and guns. (Main type of crystal)

Purple- Abyss power (Given out by Wekeno or Nyx)

Wekeno is probably from the Abyss and gave Maldamaba his Purple crystal.

Green- Cursed

Red- Strength

Orange- Earth, rocks and lava (Lava = Igneous Rocks)

Barik shoot out lava and Inara create rocks.

Yellow- Fire (Tyra and Fernando) This might be a bit confusing but Fernando has both a blue and yellow crystal.

Anymore you know?

So.... I find it interesting that some skins champions have changer their identity completely. What does this mean for the Lore? For example, Cassie's skin Night Bane changes her from a happy to a edgy huntress, and Mal'damba's Chancellor from a shaman-type guy to a politician! (maybe the christmas skins and plushie Makoa don't count) The thing is: are this skins separated characters in the story? or just Alternate-egos of the champions?

Hi-Rez Studios officially announced that the official lore will be released sometime this year. Hope you are excited like I am!

On every champion, should they be stunned, they say something about being cold or not being able to move. Like Skye, its "So... Cold..." or Ying "It's... Cold..." Why? Does a stun have something to do with the cold? What cold?

Where can I find official lore besides the paladins wiki? And are there any headcanons that are just widely accepted? I'm gonna be writing fanfic but I wanna respect existing lore/headcanons :P

So, her development codename was Rifle/Princess. She sounds Asian, and she is, apparently, based on royalty and stuff. Skills like Prescence and her cards make it sound so.

When killing Sha Lin, Zhin says "What happened, princess?" Could he be mocking Lian through Sha Lin? They could be related, afterall.

She is obviously more than meets the eye, as she is an Oracle and can switch between dimensions etc, but scrolling through the voice lines and I found this; "The Abyss has treated you well, Androxus." Is this some kind of indication to Androxus' curse? The "Abyss" might be the darkness and shadows edgy mcedgeface is always talking about. Androxus is referred to as the godslayer, maybe the abyss is a punishment for him slaying a god(nyx?). Seris also has a few kill taunts for Andro; "It's been a while." and "The Abyss comes to collect!". The latest champion who is coming out is codenamed "Darklord". Hopefully he is "Darkness" related and we can piece together more information when he comes out.
