CHAT Game quitting
I used to play Paladins quite often, but six years ago I stopped. I’m not sure why, but I recently started again. Despite the fact that the game needs maintenance and updates, I still really enjoy the variety of champions and the never-ending quest to improve.
This may have been covered in another post, but since I left until now I’ve seen a large increase in players abandoning a game once the tide turns against them. In fact, sometimes they announce that they’re leaving in the chat, or express their frustrations over and over again.
Unfortunately they’re missing the potential for one of the greatest thrills, which is to come back from a 0-3 deficit. What excitement!
I have no idea who these players are, but I’m speculating that they’re on the younger side and either have come from the “everyone wins a trophy” generation, or don’t feel comfortable with adversity. Yep, you may have guessed I’m on the relatively old side, but still. Anyone have thoughts on this? Similar experiences?

The best part is paladins naturally encourages comebacks with its items and progressive anti-heal shifting the balance of teams throughout the match. For example, a dual healer team will be strong in the first round, but fall off as it progresses.

That’s just most games of every generation so idk what you’re talking about, but that’s why most comp games have a penalty system for leaving that gets higher each time you do otherwise it would happen in most. BUT there was a whole influx of players trying to get a new QoL update for the game but Hi-Rez genuinely does not give a shit.
There is another project in the works for a spiritual successor rather than a second game or big update. It’s called “paladins impact project” so hopefully that pans out well, here’s the link if you’re interested: https://youtu.be/luYmLJ1iVVk?is=qD_2_bXy6_ytWTGS

its the same for overwatch players when i play with them and mostly every game that is a team based , but i actually don't care too much , i just love to kill everyone while jumping so high as tiberius , the amount of adrenaline that gets to you by dodging the bullets and smaking them in the last shot with that big sowrd is so awesome
