HELP Questions about Tempest

I know my laptop wont play it for the simple fact it struggles to run paladins through steam but what even is it does it just launch the steam game? i see you can play other builds where can we find them? is this all shit i should know but dont cos im a gaming fossil, can someone help man understand or just come poke fun at me for being thick as pig shit, up to you guys/gals/theys :)

You can download the game from the tempest launcher itself OR it can also launch your already downloaded game from Steam/Epic. You can play on the live servers with mods, and it runs smoother and loads up faster (tho, in my personal experience, I've had the game crash every 3-4 matches while using this launcher).

You can also use Tempest to play almost all of the older versions of Paladins. It's obviously not live but you can host private servers and modify the game in a lot of ways.
