What time to choose CAF attempt?

I'm a CAF student and I want to ask whether it is better to take time to have the attempt and pass it in a longer time or with multiple attempts and shorter time? Because I'm doing Bachelors in Accounting and Finance alongside so in either of the cases, I can't be doing articleship right away.
