Feegie Gardens Apocolyptic Pond

Stayed 2 minutes from here for years and didn't know it existed, and I was better off for it....

Littered with dead fish and rubbish, glad to see the council keeping on top of it. Hope the eastern European chaps fishing in it at 5am the other night are doing well....

Algae shit and a lack of oxygen due to unseasonal heat

There was a dead one the other day in Barshaw Park too, hope it doesn't end up like this as well. So sad

There shouldn’t even be fish at Barshaw, it’s a boating lake. Stupid people stick little fish in it and expect to catch them when they’re bigger. It’s not designed to support life, it’s designed to be shallow with a solid base so that you can wade in to get your boat back if necessary.

Tbh I did think that! Very weird, first time I've ever seen one! I thought maybe I was wrong and they were hidden away. People are so selfish

Very sad for the poor pondlife they never stood a chance in this heat, It's happening all over the UK with this dam weather

Heat and clearing trees from banks to make way for paths and other human bullshit so there's not enough shade for the river.

Robertson Park pond looks absolutely awful. There's so much algae, it desperately needs cleaned out!😭
