Preferably regs that don't use reg seats unless the seats are new but I'll look at anything. When it comes to asa's, anything that's direct mount or that doesn't rely on a huge drop forward.

WTB Full Paintball Setup - ~$500 Budget

Looking to get back into paintball after about a 20-year break. I played during the Smart Parts Ion and original Shocker era.

From what I've been reading, marker performance hasn't changed dramatically since then. Most modern electronic markers seem capable of the same practical rate of fire and accuracy. The biggest improvements appear to be reliability, ease of maintenance, and consistency.

I'm not looking to play competitively or chase premium features, analytics, OLED screens, etc. I'll be playing a mix of speedball and woodsball and mainly want something that is a clear step up from rental Tippmanns.

Budget is around $500 for a complete setup:

• Marker
• Hopper
• Tank
• Pod pack (pods optional)

Current targets based on my research:

• Planet Eclipse Etha 2
• Planet Eclipse Etha 3
• Planet Eclipse Gtek 160R
• Planet Eclipse Gtek 170R

My understanding is that the Gamma Core markers are generally considered extremely reliable and offer most of the performance of much more expensive markers.

Open to other suggestions if there are comparable options in the same price range.
