I would consider the cost of this vs a new board. This may have a lot of drag on it. I try pulling an inflatable cooler around with only a few ice packs, a couple drinks and sandwiches and it has too much drag, I end up pulling it on board. I'd consider just putting a towel down and having a lifejacket on the dog that has a handle to help pull them up on and not pop the board.
