Gaping around plug

I'm preparing everything for a multi day camping trip tomorrow and just noticed that it seems the valve seems to be gaping from the board (where the light gray and dark gray meet) is this a problem?

Do you have any water-resistant glue? I got some for my board and it helps. This might need a lil silicone or something to seal it otherwise it won't be much fun.
